Isaiah seeing this immediately stepped in between them. "Hey, come on, fellas. It's all jokes. No need to go to war," he said, putting a hand on Jace's shoulder in a sort of half-warning, half-friendly gesture.

Jace smirked. "War? Nobody said anything about war. I'm just keeping it real I don't know who this goofy as N***a is, If you gotta swing then that's what you gotta do." his words instantly silenced the nearby students who happened to catch the commotion. For a moment it even seemed like the DJ had stopped the music just to watch the spectacle but the rhythmic dancing of students further away dissuaded that notion.

"You know what I like so I'm going let this one slide but considering where you are from but steep to me the wrong way one more time, You and I are gonna have a problem," He said in a dismissive tone but to Jace it looked like he was doing his best to hold back from swinging.

He didn't have a problem with guy since he barely even knew him, but he could tell that the guy was testing how much he could get from him. It wasn't about material things but if he could step on him socially it would set a president for others to think it was sweet to do the same. After all he was the hottest prospect joining their world showing he was dominant would gain hm some prestige.

He wouldn't gain much since the established egos have already been formed through clicks and different locker-room leaders of the different clubs. Still, he would gain something tangible by knocking him down a peg and Jace had seen this a lot of times. Heck, he had done the same at times when a player in his team was feeling himself and felt like he could challenge for the crown.

So for this very reason, he did not care what the guy in front of him wanted to achieve and whoever was backing him as he stared into his eyes. Whether he created an enemy or not didn't matter to him as he simply wanted to set the tone after clocking the guy's intention. Just because he was surrounded by the prestige of this institution didn't mean he had forgotten where he was from.

Isaiah's grip on Jace's shoulder tightened, and he glanced around the quickly forming circle. A handful of partygoers had paused their conversations, and a few were now openly staring. The tension in the room was palpable, like the slow-creeping hum before an earthquake.

"We got a problem here?" Aaron Jackson the head of the current head of the Alpha Phi Alpha House asked as he placed his hands on both young men's shoulders. He is a tall dark-skinned guy in his junior year with a buff body and a gruff bear beard. He had the aura of a teddy bear that was ready to unleash a can of ass whopping if challenged.

"Naw Aaron was just introducing myself to our new star here," The tattooed guy responded with a measured smile as he shrugged his hand off his shoulder.

"Yeah, what he said, sorry for the commotion though," Jace responded his gaze moving to the friendly smile of Aaron. "I'm Jace nice to meet you,"

Jace leaned back against the wooden patio railing, scanning the crowd as the party continued in full swing. Isaiah, after showing him around the room had drifted toward a group of girls standing near the makeshift dance floor. Spotting Jace, he waved him over with a wide grin.

"Yo, Rookie, get over here," Isaiah called, gesturing for Jace to join them. "You need to meet some of the finest athletes UCLA has to offer," Jace smirked but made his way over, cup in hand. As he reached Isaiah, he was introduced to two volleyball players and a girl from the equestrian team.

"This is Liana, she's a setter. Quick hands, and even quicker reflexes if you know what I mean," Isaiah said with a wink. Liana, a tall, tanned girl with sun-kissed blonde hair, rolled her eyes playfully but flashed a warm smile. "And this is Camila, outside hitter. She jumps higher than you, guaranteed."

She was tall with a toned body with assets in all the right places, accentuated by the blue dress that hugged her curves perfectly. Her confidant aura only added to her charm as despite seeing flirty she moved with poise. Camila was also a tall girl around 5'8, with dark curls and rosy lips that matched her sensual body.

A confident smirk adorned her pretty face as she raised an eyebrow. "Big words for a football guy. Y'all act like you own the campus."

"Only 'cause we do," Isaiah shot back with a laugh. "And last but not least, Emily. She rides horses or something, but trust me, she's doing her thing,"

Emily, a brunette with striking green eyes, standing at around 5'7 the shortest of the group gave Jace a once-over before tilting her head. "I've never really watched football, but I guess if you're the new guy, I'll have to start paying attention."

Jace chuckled. "You're not missing much, just a bunch of idiots trying to hit each other as hard as they can."

Isaiah nudged him with his elbow. "Man, ain't you one of those Idiots trying to hit someone. Y'all give him a few weeks, he'll be running this place."

"Man, I'm nothing like you. I am more like Ceaser directing soldiers into battle," Jace retorted with a smile as he took another sip of his drink.

"Keep telling yourself that but you're nothing more than a slightly more prestigious idiot than the rest of us on the gridiron," He retorted with a teasing smirk.

"Boys let's cool it with the testosterone and go back to giving us compliments," Liana interrupted with a slight pout on her rosy lips as she motioned them to sit down at a set of couches.

Jace dropped onto the couch beside Emily as Isaiah plopped down in between Camila and Liana. "So, rookie," Camila started, crossing her legs as she swirled the drink in her cup.

"It's Hakeem to the ladies," Jace said with a playful wink as he reached out to shake her hand.

"Ok Rakim I will ask the question that every girl in here is [probably wondering, what's your hair care routine," She asked with a playful smirk.

"Hmm, that's a secret you can ask anything else though," he replied with a smile matching her energy. "Ok, then I'll ask what these whores really want to know, what's your type? And don't go saying some BS about personality."

Jace smirked, lifting an eyebrow. "Type? You mean in girls?"

"Obviously," Liana chimed in. "Let's see if you got taste or if we need to fix you."

Isaiah laughed, "Careful now, bro. This is a trap."

Jace took a sip of his drink, thinking for a second before shrugging. "Yall Honestly want to know and promise not to get mad?" He asked them with a serious and almost teasing expression.

"Of course, we do, yes, promise," they all simultaneously responded subconsciously nodding their head's.

Sitting up with a more serious expression he eyed each one of them before sighing as he opened his mouth. "My type is a girl with a heart of gold and Big Gyat."
