Elliana, Draven's mom, said to Olivia, "I hope you and Hannah come visit again soon."
Olivia smiled and said, "Yeah, of course. I'm gonna make sure I visit you again, and Hannah too, right?"
Hannah, with her typically emotionless face, blushed slightly.
Elliana smiled, waving goodbye. "Bye! Don't forget to pay your best friend a visit!"
Olivia also smiled and said, "I wouldn't even if I wanted to. Bye! We're gonna be on our way." She turned around and started walking away, with Hannah beside her.
Draven walking away, his left hand in his pocket and his right holding the bow. He suddenly stopped when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He glanced down and saw it was a female hand with dark skin. Turning around, he saw his mother.
"Mom," Draven said.
She quickly stretched out her other hand and took Draven's left hand, holding it tightly. "Come with me, honey," she said, and started walking. Draven walked beside his mother, still holding his bow in his right hand, and thought inwardly, Damn it, I wanted to take a nap.
Draven's mom, still holding his hand, led him towards three chairs. His father was seated in one of them. When they reached the chairs, she said, "Sit here, honey," and Draven, still holding his bow, sat down on one of the chairs. His mom sat on the chair next to him. What the hell am I supposed to do? he thought.
A female vampire with brown hair and red eyes walked towards them, holding a gift. She smiled, bowed slightly, and raised the gift forward. "Your Highness, I wanted to offer this small gift to celebrate your special day. I hope it is to your liking."
Draven looked at her and thought inwardly, Hell yeah, all I gotta do is sit back and receive gifts. A maid walked over to the vampire and took the gift from her. Draven continued his thought, She might seem nice with that smile on her face, but I can see the distrust in her eyes. Not only her, but in the eyes of every other blood-sucking bastard here.
Draven's mom smiled and said, "Honey, you're supposed to express your gratitude when you receive a gift from someone."
Hearing what his mom said, Draven mumbled, "Thanks for the gift." He continued his thought, I don't really care what anyone thinks. Ugh.
Another vampire walked towards Draven, holding a gift. He thought, Damn, this is gonna take a while.
The scene changed, and Draven was walking in the hallway, his right hand still holding his bow and his left hand in his pocket.
