"Cynthia, Ruan here… I get you, but things are getting difficult here, even Lee is badly injured. Can you find any shortcuts ? "
"No, I think our options are limited now.. we have to take the root we had taken other may be hidden with dangers. So, it's better to avoid any shorts cuts"

Lee the slightly more injured among the two, is trying to remain calm and guide Ruan though the signal given by Cynthia. It was difficult to track in the deep forest though. who is visibly trembling and close to tears. They are dressed in simple clothes, their faces smeared with dirt and grime from their frantic escape.
Ruan Thiaun looked unconvinced and spoke to Cynthia," Even we manager to get out of the old radio tower the our wave frequency will interrupt these beast, they may attack. Can you bypass the signal?"
Lee met her gaze, his eyes burning with sharp pain.
Cynthia replied- "The key is not to stop these beasts rather change the frequency direction. I think I can manage the signal to divert these beasts and provide you a safer passage!"
Ruan Thiuan sigh with relief!
"Good to hear that. We are getting out of here."
"Ok, I will guide you with a track that you need to follow for a safer passage to get back with us. Don't worry, get back safe. Mrs. Waun has told Bruno to get more reinforcement for the further process."
"More reinforcement, but will it not trigger them?"
Lee asked Cynthia as his skepticism began to waver replaced by a glimmer of interest.
"Don't worry Bruno will make sure as per our need. You both just get back as quickly as you can. You need emergency medical support. We don't need you both to get infected."
Lee was astonished!

"Yes"- Cynthia confirmed.
"Take some general antibiotics from Ruan, but we will give you both some advanced anti-biotics which are updated to responded to these bacteria found in the mutated beast."
"Ok, that good."- Lee replied with a moment of reflection.
Ruan Thiuan searched her bag for First AID kit box, Cynthia had put general items like Iodine solution, bandage, gauge, Gloves, Caesar, Antiseptic wipes, medicine like pane killer in there.
Ruan ripped the shirt of Lee and applied pressure on the wounded area to stop bleeding.
"You know what Lee, I think you need to wash your cuts and control the blood."
Then she began to treat the wounded area like a professional medical person with care and sympathy. She gave all her attention and focused on controlling bleeding.
The she cleaned the wounded area gently thorough cleaning and irrigation.
I am no doctor but your wounds may be dangerous. We will need Medical Support as soon as possible."-Ruan Thiaun told Lee.
To Lee's astonishment Ruan Thiuan looked very caring and a wonderful human being, which did not met her earlier flan boy behavior. She reminded her more like Amina from the previous dimension.
Lee curled his lips into a slight smile, and looked at her eyes.
"You, know what Ruan. You are more mysterious than I thought."
"Mysterious? In what way good or bad?"- Ruan reluctantly stood up as she was addressing his wounds.
Lee smiled. He thought she is more like a modern version of Amina, with more fresh ideas and showing no sign of her weakness, always ready to fight the world around her.
" More like a modern wizard who once resembles of a great wizard like Amina, would have definitely helped us right now!"
Ruan Thiuan looked at Lee, she has not heard of this girl before. She must be someone close to him from his past life she thought.
"Who is Amina, is she someone close to you?"
Lee had a shy of smile in his face, why did he suddenly mention her name. Guess, in his unconscious mind she could never forget her.
"You know what Ruan, we get attached to those moments that we could never want to forget and in these moments we meet with some extraordinary person who we can never forget. And Amina was one of them, she was one of the most beautiful girl with a great heart. Back in my past dimension, she saved me with her."
The both of them began to run on the pathway the signal headed, probably keeping way from the unexpected colossal beasts or other threat that was hidden in the forest. A threat that is not explicitly stated but is palpable in their fear.
The sound of rustling leaves and snapping twigs sends them into a state of heightened alertness, and they constantly look over their shoulders, expecting to be caught.

They try to stay on the path, but the forest seems to have no mercy, and they are forced to make their way through dense thickets and over fallen trees.
"It's getting smudgy and darker."- Ruan turned around to see Lee.
Lee was little behind. His eyes was red and face was swollen.
"I am felling bit cold and feverish."- Lee answered with a moan.
"Good thing we will be there before the sunrise. And we had not face any more dangerous beast in our way."
"Hope, our luck works."- Lee told Ruan Thiaun.
Ruan Thiuan was really determined. She will do anything to avoid any mutated animals now.
"Cynthia, how long it will take?"
"With your pace, one hour max."
