Kael and Amelia walked down the wide, silent corridor toward the Practical Combat room.
The class was designed for high-ranking students, with exceptional abilities and already at advanced stages of their training. The two walked side by side, a slight tension hanging in the air, a mix of discomfort and something else.
Kael was lost in his thoughts, still reflecting on what had happened earlier, while Amelia, with her teasing smile, seemed to ignore any previous discomfort, walking with her confident and uninhibited posture.
But internally, she was dying of embarrassment. She had done that purely out of jealousy of Sylphie and Irelia, she really needed to prove she was interested too!
"This class is going to be... interesting," Amelia said, breaking the silence, her eyes sparkling with a playful anticipation. She was clearly excited about the class, but there was something in her tone that Kael couldn't quite place.
He observed her, but didn't know what to think.
