Celina stood her ground as the Dullahan charged toward her. Its towering headless body wielded a jagged axe twice her size, black mist spilling from its hollow neck. The ground trembled under its steps.
Celina didn't move. Not yet.
Her hair fluttered, and her eyes glowed with eerie calm. The students behind her were still praying to whatever god to save them. They believed they were going to die soon.
The Dullahan raised its axe, ready to strike. Even as the fight was far away from the rest of the students, they screamed their lungs out as if the creature was about to attack them.
Celina ducked low, rolled to the side, and with a spin, slashed upward. Her sword met its armour, leaving a crack. The Dullahan retaliated with its axe, grazing her shoulder. Blood splattered.
Celina hissed.
