— Unknown POV —
In the middle of the night, I apparated right next to the Hogwarts wardline. I instantly felt it, the sour, mad and foul mood of the castle and even with its wards in an acute state of disrepair I didn't dare to cross rashly. „Hogwarts, I request an audience with your current headmaster!" I shouted, before hastily adding: „I hereby swear on my magic, that I will not bring harm to any individuals on castle grounds this visit, except in an act of self defense, so I swear, so mote it be! Lumos. Nox." This appeased the boiling storm of feelings from Hogwarts, which I attributed to our last meeting, which didn't end that well…
Afterwards I directly, with the subtle allowance of Hogwarts, so that I don't come anywhere near students, apparated directly into the Headmasters office. What awaited me was a wand and a hovering transfigured sword, both pointed at my throat. „Oh, quite the reflexes you have got there, but I would advise against fulfilling this threat, as I can race this school to the ground, if I can act in self defense. Well I won't anyway, but remember, that would be the last action you take as a living, breathing human", which I followed with a short burst of my mana, not even a millisecond long, before it vanished again, as if it had never been here in the first case. I could see it on his face, that he got the message, before vanishing the sword, lowering his wand, while still being extremely cautious.
„What…", he started speaking, but I stopped him: „Listen. I ain't here for a chat or talk, only for informing you, as is my current given duty. First, congratulations on your ascension and welcome to the ranks of an adept. Now what is an adept? The rank above novice and no, I do not want to belittle you, we just know different rankings, but you will get used to it.
Through this ascension, you created an energy body for yourself, which is needed for cultivation, yours probably a mana bod due to your occupation and heritage.
There are multiple ranks for your current stage, the currently important 2 are:
Novice, split into kid, student, adult, master and grandmaster stages, the first three depending on age and development and the last two depending on mastery. While we tried making it purely depend on understanding, it is just too shallow knowledge to make it easy, so we stopped bothering with it. It is consensus, that you need to be a grandmaster to even have a chance at forming an ember of an aspect.
Adept however is categorized into seven stages. Common, uncommon, rare, epic, legendary, living, conscious . Each sub divided into newcomer, entry, advanced, elite, peak, changing and breathing.
Here are a few books about this thematic, which you should not spread, as you will be hunted down by individuals so much stronger than you, that you will die in less than an hour. You are also only allowed to talk about it to individuals in the know, which includes most Ollivanders and dozens of others, but generally don't breach the subject before anyone else does, until you can distinguish the difference between those who know, and those who don't. There is a multitude of techniques for that in the books as well. I will only say one word of advice. Do not attempt to ascend to the next stage without thorough knowledge about this new world you will be thrust in, the difference between even sub ranks can be devastating.
Here are also more books about our culture, current climate, rules, regulations, laws and so on, so that you don't get slaughtered the moment you walk into one of our bases. In the books is guidance to these bases as well as information merchants and helpful libraries, though I must warn you to first read the given books, they can also help you with any question, as I won't answer them.
Now to the actual pressing matters. First, you will need to step down from your international post. Normally all government related jobs, but you will need yours for the next part. You will stop any and all politicking and scheming and bring the education system up to standards, as I see it, we have ignored it more than enough, which will change. You will reintegrate most abolished courses, hire new teachers, get rid of Binns for heavens sake and even add new courses, together with few other systems and changes, which you will get from another source, after I have brought it to the councils attention. One of those will be a introduction to secondary or different foci and their manufacturing.
You can do all this without problem, as Hogwarts is in itself neutral and should not be influenced by politics. You know, in the olden days, I would have executed you for your plays, but sadly those traditions were abolished a thousand years ago.
Now, the money for Hogwarts will be sponsored by the Ollivanders, which I will instruct right after this meeting and you can go to the twins for most preliminary information on this new world. You can also use their channels for overqualified teachers, though their tenure can last at most a hundred years.
You will also stop running after that damn prophecy. Most prophecies are self fulfilling, but this one isn't, well not anymore. So you can just hunt down Voldemorts horcruxes and be done with it. Your strength will enter a short period of rapid growth, together with your body de-aging, so you will be way more powerful than right now.
Before I forget my manners. I am Lagern Ollivander, current acting head of the Ollivander family, it was a pleasure meeting you." I swiftly ended my explanation, rant, introduction and monologue, before promptly apparating away, leaving behind a dazed Headmaster and furious Hogwarts, as it wanted to expel that man itself, but was robbed that opportunity, as he apparently noticed its intentions and fled from it.
— Omni POV —
A few days later, you would find a furious Headmaster in a large training room, raining spells down onto helpless training dummies, venting his anger, sadness and disappointment, about himself but also his helplessness. He had already read most of the history books, provided by Lagern Ollivander, but that man straight up forgot to warn him about the most important thing altogether, the … .
