Chapter 23 - Chapter 22

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm orange glow over the planet, Muhan's life was about to take an unexpected turn. What he thought was a conversation with Professor Ae-cha turned out to be a deception. A female demon, disguised as the professor, had been hiding in plain sight. Her true identity was finally revealed as Muhan's system alerted him to the demon's presence.

The demon's transformation was mesmerizing. Her iris glowed bright red, horns emerged from her forehead, and her dark red hair cascaded down her back. Her skin turned a pale, porcelain white, and her presence seemed to radiate an otherworldly energy. Muhan's eyes widened as she leaned in, her voice barely above a whisper, "You're quite handsome, and I can sense you're strong too… how about we spar?"

Muhan's excitement was palpable. He knew that demons were capable of channeling power from the Fiction, granting them unparalleled strength. The prospect of facing a level 300 demon was both exhilarating and terrifying. Yet, he agreed to the spar, his smile masking the trepidation that lurked beneath.

The demon's smile grew wider as she suggested, "Let's take this outside, shall we, handsome?" Muhan's response was emphatic, "Definitely!"

Meanwhile, in her dorm, Mi-cha was lost in thought. She had completed her daily system quests and was fresh out of the shower, her hair still damp as she began to dry it. Her mind, however, was preoccupied with a different concern – her lack of a transformation or a state of power. Unlike Muhan, who seemed to be discovering new aspects of his abilities, Mi-cha felt stagnant, unsure of how to unlock her true potential. The uncertainty lingered, a constant reminder that she still had much to learn.

As Muhan and the beautiful female demon, Chae-min, soared through the void of space, their introductions were brief but captivating. Chae-min's smile hinted at a mischievous intent, and Muhan's charming demeanor belied the intensity of the battle to come.

With a flick of her wrist, Chae-min declared, "Well then, Handsome, let's begin!" Muhan's eyes sparkled with anticipation as he asked, "So you were pretending to be a Human all along?" Chae-min's confirmation was accompanied by a sly grin.

As the fight commenced, Muhan unleashed his full fury. He created a massive shield to protect the planet, deactivated his strength suppression ability, and dashed towards Chae-min at the speed of sound. His devastating punch shook the universe violently, but to his astonishment, Chae-min remained unfazed.

Muhan recoiled, momentarily stunned, and Chae-min seized the opportunity to counterattack. Her punch was a blur of speed, surpassing even the speed of light. The force of her blow destroyed half of the universe, sending Muhan tumbling through the cosmos to land on a distant planet. The impact of his landing ravaged the planet's surface.

Yet, in an instant, Chae-min recreated the planet with a mere snap of her fingers. The universe itself seemed to bend to her will, and Muhan's eyes widened in awe as he struggled to comprehend the true extent of her power.

Chae-min's laughter echoed through the cosmos, a melodious sound that belied the destruction she had wrought. "Was that a sufficient demonstration, Handsome?" she teased, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

....

As Mi-cha's cheeks flushed with a soft pink hue, her mind wandered deeper into the realm of Muhan's captivating presence. She couldn't help but recall the way his piercing eyes seemed to see right through her, the chiseled contours of his face, and the broad expanse of his shoulders. The mere thought of his hot body sent a shiver down her spine, leaving her breathless and yearning for more.

Just as she was getting lost in the labyrinth of her thoughts, Mi-cha's senses began to tingle, alerting her to the presence of two distinct energies lingering outside the planet's atmosphere. Her heart skipped a beat as she recognized Muhan's unique energy signature, but the other energy was unfamiliar, leaving her with a sense of curiosity and trepidation.

Mi-cha's eyes narrowed, her brow furrowed in concern, as she wondered what Muhan was doing out there. Was he on a mission? Was he in danger? The questions swirled in her mind like a maelstrom, each one fueling her growing anxiety. She felt an overwhelming urge to reach out to him, to connect with him on a deeper level, but she hesitated, unsure of how to bridge the distance between them.

As the unknown energy continued to linger, Mi-cha's senses remained on high alert, her intuition warning her that something was amiss. She couldn't shake the feeling that Muhan's presence outside the planet was more than just a coincidence, that it was somehow connected to the mysterious energy that seemed to be watching her.

With her heart racing and her mind reeling, Mi-cha knew she had to find a way to uncover the truth. She took a deep breath, steeling herself for what was to come, and focused her energy on reaching out to Muhan, hoping against hope that he would respond, that he would reveal the secrets that lingered beyond the planet's horizon.

As soon as Mi-cha sent the message, she anxiously awaited Muhan's response, her fingers drumming against the armrest of her chair. She had barely finished typing when her system beeped, signaling an incoming reply from Muhan.

"Hey, I'm outside the planet," Muhan's response read. "I had to take care of something. What's up?"

Mi-cha's eyes widened as she read Muhan's message, her mind racing with questions. What could he be doing outside the planet? Was he in trouble? She quickly typed out a response, asking him to elaborate, but before she could send it, her system beeped again.

This time, it was a notification from the planet's surveillance system. Mi-cha's eyes scanned the message, her brow furrowing in concern. It seemed that a demon had been detected in the vicinity, one who had been causing trouble in the nearby galaxies.

Mi-cha's thoughts were interrupted by Muhan's voice, his words echoing in her mind. "I've got a situation here. I'll talk to you later, okay?"

Mi-cha's heart skipped a beat as she sensed a surge of energy from Muhan's location. What was happening? She tried to respond, but Muhan's connection had already been severed.

Meanwhile, in the depths of space, Muhan faced off against the demon Chae-min. Her eyes sparkled with mischief as she gazed at Muhan, her voice husky as she spoke. "I don't want to fight you, handsome. I just want a spar. Let's see how you handle yourself."

Muhan's eyes narrowed. But before he could respond, Chae-min vanished into thin air, leaving Muhan staring at the empty space where she had stood.

"What the…?" Muhan muttered, his eyes scanning the surrounding area. Where had she gone? And what did she want with him?
