Baaz found himself in a dire situation, he was already regretting the fact that he inspected them as this seemed to bother them.He had miscalculated,he used all of his mana forgetting that the bosses hadn't come yet.He did forget such a basic rule of Video game,he spent himself before finishing the mission. For confirmation,he did a check on his mana pool and found it empty, his carelessness would cost him.Contrary to the previous group, the four Hobgoblins although cautious of him examined their surrondings, they silently took in the destruction of their tribe, they saw the pool of green blood and the dismembered bodies of their kin. After what seemed an eternity ,the goblin Chieftain who was the biggest Hobgoblin that Baaz has ever seen turned and glared at him, this glare contained so much hate that it alarmed him greatly,he tightened the grip he had on his weapon and assumed a broken fighting stance. The goblin Chieftain finally spoke words that clearly put him on another level compared to all the goblins he initially fought. Here the intent was clearer.

" Demon, you die today". Those words started the fight as weirdly it was the Vice-Chieftain who charged at him.

BOOM,Baaz was sent crashing on one of the walls of the cave.Dust quickly filled the area as he fell down brutally and vomited a mouthful of blood

"Fuck,I swear I felt at least three ribs popping."He stood up with difficulty feeling his body hurting,he could not distinguish his right from his left and a tingling sound was echoing into his ears.It was once again his instincts that saved him as he suddenly felt his neck becoming cold,he reflexively crossed his hand and tried to block the strike but caught off guard by the power behind it he was projected to another direction. When he landed, he landed on the hard rock of the cave and this time he heard another cracking sound coming from his back and a world of pain fell on him. Unfortunately for Balthazar it seemed that he will not be given the time to rest as the weakest Hobgoblin landed beside him and a kick soon found his way to his broken ribs giving him a new wave of pain to overcome.

In his head,Baaz was cursing at his own stupidity. With a chop of his axe,he quickly dispatched the last of the goblin captain. The situation was dire, not only he was outmatched in speed, but the goblin chieftain was equal to him in the strength department. And to say there was two others stronger that the Vice chieftain. He painfully stood up and this time tried to use his brain to outsmart his opponent. He would not win in a contest of speed so he did the next best thing. He was going to try to engage in a match of endurance. He quickly placed a wall behind him and stood ready to fight his enemy, fortunately he still had his weapon. The vice chieftain made an amused expression and he accelerated.

Everybody who ever played video games would know that a stealthy opponent was the worst when it comes to fighting one versus many , as they can ambush you when you're the least prepared and usually such an act is a guaranteed way to die because when they backstab you they go for vital areas.

It was after careful considerations that Baaz decided to go for such approach. But he was going to learn the hard way the difference between game and reality. For the first time, Baaz literally saw someone disappear from his sight. And pain assaulted his senses as he found himself bleeding from three deep cuts, the worst was that he could not do anything about it as his brain could not comprehend the speed at which the Vice chieftain moved. An atmosphere of unease quickly took hold of the space as again Baaz found himself being cut. Blood gushed in great quantity and finally the Hobgoblin reappeared two crude daggers out and a sadistic smile plastered on its lips. And curiously the Vice chieftain saw something that disturbed him, the demon, he was smiling.

From the moment he saw his opponent disappear, Baaz knew he had to modify his plan. He now knew he could not compete with a much higher leveled opponent, but if he had retained something from the lectures of the Hermit it was that Demon were able to fight like magic warrior. So he did the unthinkable, to sacrifice flesh so that he can break the bone. He let himself be overwhelmed, not that he could do a damn thing about it so he took care to make it difficult to sneak up behind him and endured, this allowed him to regain some of his forces and gather some mana. And now he estimated that he had enough magic for one spell. Now all he had to do was to catch his enemies off guard.

Baaz cautiously moved toward the vice-chieftain. Shocked by this attitude, the goblin took a step back carefully eyeing the brazen demon. Baaz then took another step forward and the same thing happened, a little smile once again found its place on its lips. Pissed, the Vice chieftain moved so quickly that he once again disappeared and reappeared on the dead angle, far from the direct line of sight of the demon and decisively used his backstab skill trying to put an end to the fight. While attacking, the vice-chieftain took great care to attack him on his left side where the demon was limping. But he unknowingly fell in the trap laid there for him.

If there was one thing that he took care of during this fight, it would be his weapon. The Hermit clearly told him that his weapon was a rare one so not once did he drop it and instead had put it inside of his space ring. But it seemed that the Vice chieftain did not know about that, so imagine its surprise when he saw that the demon he thought was severely injured on its left side suddenly spin around and counter attack him. The plan was that simple, he wanted to bait the Hobgoblin, provoke it and finally lure him into using his backstab skill. Had it been clever, the Vice chieftain would have smelled that something was fishy here. The demon who was protecting his back suddenly gave him an opening, but unfortunately, clouded by anger he fell head first into the demon's hand.

Blood gushed from his stomach as the Vice chieftain daggers' embedded themselves into him but at same time his whole body was drenched in green blood. Behind him was the corpse of the vice chieftain, his head separated from his body, lying there in its own blood.Baaz stood there and painfully removed the daggers from his torso and stored them in his space ring.

Tired, Baaz shook his head. For a moment there, it was as if he heard a voice. A pretty cruel one that sent chills down his spine. But exhausted as he was he quickly put it on his mind playing tricks with him.And he did not have time for that, he could already feel it. The look of hatred he was currently receiving as his two remaining opponents glare bore through him.
