The shower of arrows continued to rain on them from all sides, indicating that they were surrounded. The shock lasted for last than a second, and with one command from Aurora, the knights, male and female alike, stood guard around her and Tesarius with shields raised up.
Raising a shield up of her own, Aurora pushed herself to the front along with the rest of the knights, much to Tesarius's horror. "PROTECT HIS MAJESTY!"
"NO!" He bellowed, yanking her inside the circle. Aurora tried to protest, but her actions were more hindrance than helpful.
"Aurora, get back inside!" Tesarius yelled through the deafening sound of arrows hitting the shields. "You are being no help to the knights if you go stand with them at the front!"
"We need to help them!"
