Portia straightened her back, trying to maintain her composure under his gaze. "Your Highness, the Queen wishes for us to visit Silverfall tomorrow," she replied, her voice formal but soft.
A glimmer of amusement flickered across his face. He leaned slightly against the desk, folding his arms across his bare chest, a teasing smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Are you missing Silverfall already, Crown Princess? Or is there something—or someone—in particular you find yourself longing for?"
