Angelica sat down at the dining table eating the carrot chicken broth that her mother had prepared specially for her.
"Looks like someone is enjoying that broth." Dariel said walking into the dining room. Angelica ignored his comment. She had noticed that he had been more chatty as for late, and well that might be a good thing for her mother, she could not care less.
"Lucky you, your mother prepared that broth for you and you alone, there is none left for me." He said sitting in his seat.
"It is a known fact that you dislike carrot chicken broth." Angelica replied.
"Well yes, but just because I dislike it does not mean that I do not wish to eat it every once in a while." Dariel replied.
Angelica continued eating her broth.
"Seems like you are not in a chatty mood." Dariel said. "Then again, when are you ever in a chatty mood." He added.
"I cannot say the same for you." She replied.
