Ever since Liam was a kid, he always had a dream, where he was in a fantasy world, living a different life. Whenever he died in the dream, he would wake up in the real world. 

It became so normal for him that he would often look forward to sleeping to live a different life for the night. However, one time, he died and didn’t wake up in the real world.

“This can’t be happening! If I miss the evaluation day, I won’t be able to join any guild and start my hero journey! I must die!”

That's when a screen appeared in front of his eyes.

Liam stared down the commanders, his mind racing with thoughts of strategy and survival. He considered, for a moment, the idea of faking his identity and claiming to be the old man. It would be a clever ruse, one that could buy him time and perhaps even turn the commanders against one another. But the thought was fleeting. Pretending to be the old man would require an effort in acting, a level of deception that Liam wasn't sure he could maintain. Not only that, but he knew nothing about the old man's mannerisms, his history, or his secrets. The risk of getting caught was too great, and Liam wasn't willing to gamble his life on such a fragile plan.
