Louis stared at the quest details, frowning slightly. "An abandoned chapel, huh? I didn't even know we had one in town."
Ryan crossed his arms, his expression unreadable. "Most people don't. It was shut down decades ago—something about structural damage and strange occurrences. But lately, people have been seeing things. Shadows moving inside. Sounds echoing when there's no one there. A few folks even reported feeling watched."
Louis sighed, shutting the folder. "And let me guess—none of you have checked it out yet?"
Ryan grinned. "Oh, we have. A few altar servers went a week ago. They came back... shaken. Said they heard whispers and saw figures moving in the darkness. Whatever's in there, it isn't normal."
Louis felt Elyon shift within his consciousness, a faint hum of interest stirring in his mind. 'How intriguing. A forgotten place of worship tainted by the unknown... This could be enlightening.'
Louis scoffed. 'Enlightening for you. Dangerous for me.'
