Destiny... A mystery in itself 🌸
Sharona and I were so engrossed in our little childish acts, we didn't know there was someone, a customer perhaps, coming out of the restaurant.
Suddenly, I felt warm hands, warm sensations - sparkling, should I say - throughout my body. I don't know how to describe what I feel now. The whole world stopped, my heart beats with loud and rapid thuds, something that rarely happens especially not when I accidentally bump into someone with their hands touching me.
I could feel hardness, firm and broad hardness brushing against my back.
'A chest. The stranger's chest', I thought amidst the chaos inside me.
My breathe hitched. My senses about the place.
"Ahum... Ahum..."
That was my cue.
"Ohh", I breathedout. "I'm so so sorry. I.. I .. didn't see you there... I... umm.. thought.... Ehmm, I'm sorry. I don't know what to say. I was just-"
" It's okay, it's fine. Just a pure mistake which can be granted", I was interrupted by a deep husky voice.
Gosh!!! What lovely voice.
I turned to face the stranger and..... I couldn't take my eyes off. What blue eyes!!! As blue as the ocean. So deep, I could get lost in them.
I continued staring dumbstruck, obviously looking like a fool for sure.
"We're so very sorry, mister", I heard from somewhere behind me.
I turned immediately to see who said that. Obviously, it's Sharona but I had been so awestruck, I forgot completely about her. It was like my memory went blank for those few minutes.
"I personally apologize for this accidental rather uncomfortable collision. We were so carried away with our stupid acts, we didn't leave room for any caution..... Please forgive us", Shar ranted on and on surprising me more by bowing!
Okay, that was too much. Why is she doing that? Hmm... No idea.
"It's alright. Though, next time you watch carefully wherever you are headed", same deep husky voice spoke again making me turn with much alacrity.
'Ow, myneck'
But I couldn't exactly focus on the right now. My eyes - and mind - were fixated on this handsome stranger.
"What's going on here?", we heard a rather too familiar voice.
'Uh-oh, I'm in big trouble now'. Nomatterhow smittened I was with this stranger, I am not losing my only source of income.
Suddenly, I was dragged by the hands rushing inside hastily. Sharona was not hearing anything related to trouble.
I turned and stole one last glance before heading inside.
'Was it me or was that a grin I saw there?'.....
