"Mom. I didn't mean that," Faye shook her head. She really didn't mean that. She shook her head profusely, not stopping as sweat formed on her forehead and the back of her neck.
"Oh? You didn't mean that? Then tell me what you meant. Please enlighten your uneducated mother, who couldn't even comprehend the meaning of the words that were spoken out loud in front of the public."
Faye just continued shaking her head, not saying a word.
Looking at her like that, Father Morris felt bad. He placed his hand over Madam Morris' shoulder, "Honey. Her condition doesn't look good. I think you shouldn't get so fierce."
"Fierce? Am I fierce? A woman being called a seductress for no reason at all is normal, but me asking her why is being fierce?" Madam Morris asked him.
Even though the question was directed at her husband, her eyes never left her daughter.
It was clear that the question was for Faye and not her father.
