Dugu Xiaojin revealed a hint of panic. Bai Shan was the little wild wolf he had rescued from the Imperial Palace.
It was mistaken for a dog and raised in the palace, only to be injured by the spiteful Dongfang Xiu with a pellet.

Dugu Xiaojin hurried to hide little Baishan.
