"Commander, should we head back to the base now?" The soldier in the front passenger seat suddenly turned around and spoke to the officer.
"Correct, back to the base." The officer nodded, gripping the box in his hands tighter as the convoy proceeded orderly. Once they exited the docks, they were to head back to the base.
"Palm tree." Suddenly, a metallic crash sounded from outside, and the convoy abruptly halted.
"What's happening up front, why have we stopped?" The officer tapped the driver's shoulder and curiously asked. This mission was top secret, directly assigned by the higher-ups, and he took it very seriously, not daring to slack off.
"Commander, it seems there's an obstacle blocking the way." The driver said. The jeep transport vehicle, positioned in the middle of the escort convoy, and heavy rain made visibility very low despite the windshield wipers running at full capacity.
