"Time to shine…!" He said to himself before clashing with two attacking kobolds, kicking one to the side and swinging his sword upward, sending one of the creatures flying backwards. He glanced in the back to see the weremoles had begun burrowing themselves into the ground quickly.
"Nolan!"
"I'm on it!" Nolan yelled out as he placed his hands on the ground and began casting his spell. An orange circle slowly rotated around the group as it expanded rapidly, covering the area.
"Quarere!"
His eyes began to glow as he looked within the surface of the ground until he spotted two attempting a coordinated pincer from beneath the group. Making sure to yell quickly before they burrowed upward from the ground.
"Iris and Jarrett, step back and fire where you stood in two seconds!"
"O-okay!"
"Don't tell me what to do, pipsqueak–!"
The two then stepped back quickly as the burrowing became louder, where the two weremoles finally jumped into the sky, expecting the two to be standing where they were. Iris and Jarrett quickly pointed their wands at the airborne weremoles as they chanted their spells.
"Spicula Ruptis!"
"Galerum Ruptis!"
Light instantly glowed from their wands before shooting out their respective elemental bursts. Piercing each mole with a blast of thorns and wind, causing each to implode quickly into their respective materia. Iris wore a face of surprise at the accuracy of Nolan's read on the location of the weremoles.
"Thanks, Nolan…!"
"You're not completely useless…"
Nolan looked up with a small grin on his face, seemingly satisfied with the praise he received.
"Even one stars can have our uses!" he yelled out as his eyes quickly scouted the area. Looking around to see how many enemies there were, he quickly spotted mushrooms approaching from behind the kobolds Dante was fending off. Noticing the different colors of the heads of each one, he began to assess what he could about the situation.
