Chapter 95 - Let's Go Dungeon Diving! - Chapter 1

"Last time taking advice from a guy that jumps at every girl he sees…" Dante said as he rubbed the back of his head. His attempt of finding a way to get closer with Iris didn't work in the slightest as it seemed. Brushing off the fact that he was not only attacked for even touching her, he still had a few thorns in his clothes as he continued to pluck them out during his walk.

Not knowing what else, or who else to turn to, he began to walk back to the dorms, hoping to see Terra and tell her of his dilemma. The sun slowly lowered as the sky began to darken, students and passerbys began to head home after the long day. In truth, to Dante it felt as strenuous as ever, even without his sword training. He felt a shiver go down his back as he saw a vision of Rita appearing within his mind, threatening to beat him up if he missed even one day of training.

He promised himself to go train after discussing things with Terra as soon as possible, making a pleading motion to himself.

"Please just forgive me for this one time, please!" he thought to himself before reaching the Eagle House dormitory. Entering into the building, Dante watched as some of the students conversed before heading their separate ways, word of the assignment began to buzz as it had the academy students bickering amongst one another. Dante's ear perked up at two particular students speaking with one another.

"We have to team up? Why with starless students…?"

"It doesn't matter, the points will be worth it, even if we have to carry a few scrubs during the Dungeon Walk."

"Even so, it'll be rough with Professor Manor over it."

"Yeah, yeah, thank goodness he's not our professor."

The two went on to laugh with one another as they began to walk off, leaving Dante with a few questions of his own.

"How exactly are the teams chosen…?"

"I mean, there's one student for each rank, then me and Iris…"

"How would she work in a team instead of just with me…?"

"Maybe it'd be for the better…?"

Before he knew it, he'd ended up in front of what seemed to be Terra's door. He began to knock, wondering if she'd been there since she usually would be back by this time. He went and knocked on the door softly, as to not disturb anyone if they were preparing for the night. Though to what it seemed, no one answered back.
