[ Chapter V (5): "JOURNEY TO HOGWARTS" ]
[ "Hands off...!" ]
Felix after fighting off what felt like hundreds or so monsters on the way, some being hungry-hungry dinosaurs that thought of him as a snack, and some just messing around with him without any intentions of murder— like as per say a group of chubby golden small birds that zips through the air with ease.
Golden Snidgets; harmless, supposedly shy but not in this case, and also one of the fastest things in the magical world. Supposedly having been hunted down to near extinction, in this universe at the very least there is an abundant amount of them.
And they are annoying Felix without a care about the latter's feelings, which like the attention, but at some point he didn't— especially when it attracted more animals to his location.
[ "Off... Off!" ]
[ "Shoo, shoo." ]
With difficulty, Felix was finally able to escape their sight when he used his Apparition ability to reappear somewhere else, then disappear and to reappear somewhere else, this repeatedly happening before finally he escaped their sight.
On the way loud cracking sounds could be heard startling many peaceful and harmful animals on the way. [ "What are you looking at?" ] Which includes a startled Direwolf that was hiding near a bush, ready and was about to pounce on an unsuspecting Bison.
[ "Oh, wait I haven't s-seen you before..." ]
The loud disgusting cracking noise startled the lone Bison, causing the latter unbeknownst to it, to be safe away from danger.
Angered by this, the Direwolf turns around at the weird monkey dressed in a suit; face filled with a sickly pale complexion, one that suddenly appeared behind it unannounced; ready to eat the said monkey for disturbing its hunt.
But before it could do a thing, the Direwolf was greeted to the face with a short black stick— anger slightly subsiding, and instead being replaced by confusion; the said baby dog wasn't able to do a thing before finally the tip of the said stick lit up.
[ "peTRIficus toTAHlus!" ]
Stiffen...
Due to reasons not known to the overgrown dog, its body stiffens suddenly. Paws that were ready to pounce suddenly tighten and became straight, before finally it landed flat on its nose, on the grass below; still not having understood what happened.
[ "You'll make for a great pet." ]
A what, now?
Wanting to raise its head, the Direwolf couldn't, even do anything other than look at the grass below that is slightly perking its nose— causing it to be itchy, but not being able to do a thing against it.
Suddenly... It floated up in the air, levitating, still stiff without being able to do a thing; being maneuvered only by the black stick that was being pointed to it by the weirdly dressed ape beside it.
[ "Come on, let's go." ]
[ "I am sure Flitwick would love you." ]
[ "I wonder if you're edible." ]
Gluttonous by nature, and hungry due to him walking for miles and miles on end, to different terrains in the span of what felt like an hour— Felix began to wonder.
If this thing— a Wolf, is probably a Direwolf due to its distinct appearance. If it doesn't become a pet like their descendants— Dogs. Then would it be fit for consumption?
Guess he'll just need to find out later, if it didn't comply.
[ "Okay, now where's..." ]
[ "Okay, that's there..." ]
[ "That's where I came from." ]
[ "Form a line... Then there." ]
He looked behind him at the desert terrain slightly being covered by trees, then looked beside him at the not so towering trees compared to those he passed by earlier. Then finally to his right, at where the Bison ran into.
[ "So I guess... Here?" ]
[ "Yeah, whatever, let's go doggy." ]
Felix ignores the other animals inhabiting the forest he is in, and continues his walk. A Direwolf, a supposed high-tier predator in this grounds, a predator that most other animals run away from in seeing— is now currently being handled with practical ease, floating slightly behind a tall monkey dressed in weird clothes.
To the animals, critters, and other lower intelligence life forms that are seeing this, they hid, not wanting to be seen by the Direwolf, or by the monkey that easily subdued someone they consider as powerful.
To them the monkey— Felix, is someone that they could day to be more powerful than a Direwolf. Or a pack of Direwolves. Or even probably other animals, which is a bad thing; because if the said monkey is hostile, then they'll die.
So they hid not even daring to make a sound, some even running away not wanting to cross paths with the said unknown factor that invaded their home forest... Too scared.
But Felix who doesn't know what the animals are thinking, began to wonder where the other Direwolves are; [ "Where'd they go?!" ] He wants to catch a couple more pets to test on, or just to admire, or eat if push comes to shove.
The fact that he may be lost, in a foreign forest that he doesn't recognize, filled with animals he hasn't seen yet, hasn't registered yet to his brain. As he busy himself in trying to find another pet— wanting to use them as a bribe to the other Professors, so that he may get close to them.
With the way things are in the castle, they are sure to be bored there. With them having come from civilization wherein people are in abundance— both wizards and no-majs, before being abruptly summoned to this backwater planet; all connections to their past world are subsequently lost.
Worse of it all, they even without prior teaching knowledge are forced to teach to a poor copy of their Alma Mater— Hogwarts. So depending on the person they may be bored, homesick, or in the case of one special witch— vengeful at the point of wanting to fork Felix's eyes out...
[ "Oh..." ]
Pausing abruptly, he then looked at the hovering Direwolf behind him and thought of an idea... [ "Yeah, you're gonna be a gift." ]
There's no way out of this one. He'll need to appease them, especially with him having gone away for a week or so, leaving them alone to their own devices— which may have caused resentment in their hearts... With them not being able to do a thing but instead wait.
He had decided right then and there that he wouldn't eat this one, and instead forcefully make it a pet; no matter how hard it may be, and gift this to one of the faculty members— he doesn't know which one he'll give this yet— he hasn't thought of it that far.
Even the fact of gifting them with... Overgrown dogs didn't come with him thinking about it carefully, no, it instead came from him absentmindedly walking a forest, thinking about this, that led to that, which led to those, that weirdly enough connected to something that isn't important but is something he thought of doing.
You may have already noticed it by now, but Felix isn't exactly the type of guy to think about things very carefully. He just does.
Sure, he does think about some things as important and should be done within a set period of time, but the time in-between that he instead of focusing on the mission, became easily distracted as he does side quests instead... All because he got bored.
And because he wants-
[ GROWL ]
Being stopped mid-way his thoughts, Felix turned to the side and noticed an overgrown Pig that may or may not be a pig, running away tackling whatever tree may come in its way.
Confused where the growl came from, Felix began to wonder if that may have come from the Pig, or perhaps something else... Do Pigs even growl...?
His question being answered by another set of growls, followed by the presence of three Wolves— Direwolves growling, ready to pounce on the terrified Pig that is busy running away to care.
[ GROWL ]
[ "Oh- okay, I guess the search is over." ]
[ "Smile before the flash." ]
Pointing his wand at the confused Direwolves that are looking at their kin, which was hovering in the air, now flop into the ground like dead— but isn't due to it still breathing, shaking, and even darting its eyes from here to there as a sign of warning— to run away from there.
Of course, the Direwolves who didn't know about this fact instead began to bare their fangs at the overgrown monkey that's right beside their thought-of-dead kin...
But before they could even do a thing; [ "peTRIficus toTAHlus!" ] Everything has already been finished.

[ AN: I really need to focus on my game. Fine, I'll try and write two chapters a day, minimum 1,250 words each. And maximum of three chapters a day.
If I didn't post a thing in a single day, or even post two chapters that is, then I'm either a failure— Godzilla destroyed New York— or that Judgment Day had come, don't know, but one of those is the reason why I couldn't post that day...
If that day comes, hopefully not. ]
