CHAPTER 1
A HAPPY FAMILY
As early as 6:00am, Rosa and her younger brother Nick were awake and were preparing for school in their separate rooms. Then their mum called out "breakfast is ready." Nick immediately ran to the dining table because he was done preparing for school, but Rosa was not done because it takes her a lot of time to get ready for school. When she finally finished dressing up, she joined everyone who had been waiting for her before they started eating their meal at the dining table to have breakfast.
When they were done with their meal, Nick quickly took the dishes to the kitchen and put it in the dishwasher then turned it on. Then he quickly dashed into his room to grab his bag. He made his way to his parents room, grabbed one of his dad's car keys and went to the kitchen to take out the dishes from the dishwasher, and put them in the kitchen cabinets. He went to the study, grabbed his class project then headed for the garage. When he got there he entered his dad's brand new g-wagon, and he waited for the rest of the family to get in.
When they all got in, his dad started the engine and drove them to school. When they got to school, Rosa and Nick waved to their parents goodbye, and left for their different classes before the bell rang. After Rosa and Nick were dropped at school, Mr. Franklin (Rosa and Nick's dad) dropped his wife Mrs Lincoln at her supermarket. ''Avery Super Mart,'' which is known to be the best in town. Not surprisingly she is also known for her incredible business skills, which is why she owns 10 supermarkets within the states and also outside. After dropping his wife, Mr. Franklin parked his car in his CEO's parking space. Mr. Franklin the CEO of Cerebox international oil and gas is a person recognized by a lot of people. He was viewed as a role model to many people because he had achieved great things, at a very young age becoming one of the top five richest oil tycoons in the world. Becoming rich to that extent also comes with advantages and disadvantages, he made some enemies and friends during his teenage career, but at the end he made it through and has now become one of the greatest oil tycoons in the world.
In school Rosa and Nick were among the top 5 best students in the school. Rosa, Nick's older sister, is in the 12th grade and has won several awards, gold trophies & gold medals in quiz, debate, basketball and many other activities. Even though she engaged in a lot of activities, she still had not left the 1st position since she started attending the school. That was why the school put her on scholarship as a way of appreciation, because all this achievement started since she joined the school in the 7th grade. Which made the school to be respected and honored, to be in first spots of one of the top ten best schools in the state, she wants to become a scientist when she grows up.
Nick on the order hand was also one of the best students in school. Nick Rosa's younger brother is in the 11th grade just like his elder sister. He also won several awards, gold trophies & gold medals in both educational events and sport events like football. He was also on a scholarship since he started attending the school in the 7th grade, because of the same reason why his sister was on scholarship. He was a striker in the senior football club, since he joined the club and played, he had scored up to 40+ goals and 10 assists. He was indeed a good player. His coach always tells him "one day you could be like Neymar ,Mbappe, Ronaldo or Messi in future," but he knows in his mind that he wants to be a Robotic engineer when he grows up.
The bell for the closing hour rang, both Rosa and Nick met at the gate and took a cab home. When they got home, their parents as usual were not at home. When they got to the door, Nick used his fingerprint to open the door without the key. Then he said to Rosa "we engineers know our job." Rosa looked at him, surprise and shocked. Then she went to the fridge in the kitchen, took a plate of salad, then went to her room to watch a youtube video, Challenge accepted by Mitchell Khare. Nick on the other hand made himself some delicious plaster, after cooking he went to his room to watch Breast Game on prime videos.
Later in the evening when their parents arrived, their mum called Nick to open the gate, because it was fully electric and she could see the sparks coming from the gate. Upon receiving a phone call from his mum he clicked a button on this gadget remote to deactivate the command. She knew that he was the one that could do that, when they got to the door she did the same.
Immediately they entered the house they came in, they received a greeting from Rosa and Nick, as usual their mum runs to her room, removes her heel, then quickly goes to the kitchen to prepare dinner, the two siblings also help their mum which makes the cooking faster. After what felt like forever, the food was ready and they had their dinner a few minutes later. After eating a delicious well cooked meal each person made his or her way to their various rooms, to have their night rest.
