( still Around 11Am, At The Siri's mom hospital :;)
( Inside the " Wong's hospital " )":
.... Siri's expression softened as she chuckled, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "I'm just joking, Yot," she said with a smile. "You can take the cookie from Wut. He's not a stranger, or is he." She said secretly glazing ferocious at Wut, while faking a smile for Yot,
Yot's nodded as his face lit up with excitement as he turned back to Wut, stretching out his right hand,
" P'Wut " he says to wut, who was still holding out the cookie. Wut's annoyance seemed to dissipate slightly at Siri's words, and he offered Yot a gentle smile.
"Here you go," he said, handing Yot the cookie. Yot's eyes sparkled as he accepted the cookie, his face lighting up with a happy smile. "Thank you, P'Wut," he said, his voice filled with gratitude.
" My pleasure, enjoy" Wut replies as he gently pats Yot's head, while glazing at the Obviously frustrated Siri,
The atmosphere was intense, while the cut oblivious Yot tried to open the properly packaged cookies, with the hope of eating it,
Siri's who busy glazing intensely at Wut noticed , and she stopped Yot with a smile which turned into a gentle reminder. "Wait, Yot, don't eat the cookie yet," she said, her voice firm but playful.
Yot looked up at her, his eyes wide with anticipation. "Why not?" he asked, his voice tinged with disappointment.
"You need to finish your Thai iced tea first," Siri replied, her eyes sparkling with amusement. " Do even think about drinking it in an hurry, you have had quite Alot of sweets today " she calmly warned,
Yot looked down at his drink, then back up at Siri, his face scrunched up in a pout. "But I want the cookie now," he said, his voice whiny.
Siri chuckled and ruffled Yot's hair. "Patience, little one," she said. "You can have the cookie after you finish your drink...Deal?" Her voice calmly yet firm,
Yot looked up at her, then at Wut, who was watching the exchange with a warm smile. Finally, Yot nodded, " Deal " his face still scrunched up in a mixture of disappointment and anticipation,
Siri reached out and gently took the cookie from Yot's hand. "I'll hold onto this for now," she said with a smile. "You can have it later, after you finish your Thai iced tea."
Yot looked up at her, his eyes wide with disappointment, but he didn't protest.
Wut watched the exchange with interest, his eyes flicking between Siri and Yot. He seemed amused by the dynamic between the two, and a small smile played on his lips. Siri tucked the cookie into her pocket, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Don't worry, Yot," she said. "You'll get your cookie. Just finish your drink first."
Yot nodded, his face still scrunched up in a pout, but he picked up his drink and began to sip it slowly.
Siri's expression turned sugary sweet as she glanced at Yot. "Okay, little one, we should get going," she said. "Mae's food is probably getting cold." Her voice still calm,
Yot's face lit up with excitement. "Yeah! I wanna see Mae!" he exclaimed, bouncing up and down.
He turned to Wut and waved goodbye. "Bye, P'Wut! See you later!" Wut smiled and waved back, but his eyes locked onto Siri's, a spark of tension flashing between them.
Siri's smile faltered for a moment before she pasted it back on, her eyes flashing with a cold, calculated glint as she turned to Wut. "Bye, Wut," she said, her voice dripping with false sweetness. "Thanks for the cookies."
Wut's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing through Siri's facade, but he smiled back at her, his expression neutral. "Anytime, Siri. Take care." The air between them was thick with unspoken animosity, but Yot remained oblivious, too caught up in his excitement to notice.
Siri's eyes never left Wut's as she took Yot's hand, her grip tight. "Let's go, Yot," she said, her voice still sugary sweet, but her eyes blazing with a fierce intensity
Siri and Yot walked towards the reception area, the sound of their footsteps echoing through the hospital's lobby. The nurses at the reception desk were busy chatting and attending to their tasks, but as soon as they saw Siri approaching, they instantly stopped what they were doing.
Their faces turned polite and professional, and they greeted her in unison. "Good day, Nong Siri," they said, their voices respectful.....
