"The Forgotten Library huh?" Keida muttered, tossing some more firewood into the fireplace.
Leo looked up from the book he was reading. "Who suggested we go back to that godforsaken place?".
Keida cursed under her breath and walked away.
Michael leaned against the wooden pillar near the fireplace, a smirk playing on his lips. "Now, now, Leo. That's no way to talk to a lady. Especially not one who just saved our hides back there."
Leo sighed, snapping his book shut. "You weren't there last time, Michael. That place is cursed. It plays tricks on your mind."
Michael chuckled, stepping closer, his sharp eyes gleaming with something unreadable. "Oh, I do love a good mind game. But let's be honest—that's not why we're going back, is it?"
