Chapter 118 - GOLDEN EYED BLACK DRAGON

The private room was quiet, despite the distant roar of the U.A. Sports Festival continuing outside. Cheers, announcements, and the occasional explosion from quirks being pushed to their limits could be heard faintly through the reinforced walls, but none of the room's occupants paid it any mind.

Instead, all eyes were locked onto the floating hologram projected from the Shop Tablet, the glowing screen casting an eerie light onto their faces.

Rias sat with her arms crossed, legs tucked under her slightly, her eyes sharp with focus. Nezu stood on the table itself, hands folded behind his back, his usual cheerful demeanor replaced with quiet calculation. Acier leaned back against her seat, arms folded, watching with a mixture of curiosity and wary amusement. Booma had a drink in one hand, lazily sipping while her free hand hovered over the tablet, ready to adjust the view at a moment's notice.

Lily had one hand on her forehead, as though bracing herself for inevitable insanity, while Shisui had an elbow propped on his knee, his fingers lightly tapping his cheek as he observed.

Then, the image changed.

The hologram shifted, displaying a location some distance away from U.A. Suddenly space ripped and five people stepped out. They are Ditian, Xuanyu, Irene, Almight and Foara.

Suddenly Ditian moved.

Or rather—Ditian transformed.

His body expanded, stretching outward in a seamless, fluid motion, scales shimmering like polished obsidian gilded with gold. His wings unfurled, casting shadows so immense they swallowed the land beneath them in darkness. His tail, a monstrous, sinuous thing adorned with spiked ridges, curled behind him, coiling and snapping as raw, unfiltered energy crackled through the air.

And his eyes—his golden, slit-pupiled draconic eyes—glowed like molten suns, peering down at the world not as an equal, but as a ruler gazing upon his domain.

The very sky trembled under the sheer pressure of his presence.

He opened his mouth and let a huge roar...

-----

Ditian's roar ripped through the heavens.

Buildings shook. Windows shattered. Alarms blared across the city, car sirens wailing in panicked unison. Civilians screamed, clutching their ears as a physical shockwave tore through the streets. Some stumbled, barely keeping their balance. Others, overwhelmed by sheer primal instinct, fell to their knees. But worst were those with animal mutant quirk, some of them kneeled, some of them were frozen in fear and rest were left trembling.

At U.A., the entire Sports Festival came to a screeching halt.

The massive stadium, filled with tens of thousands of spectators, fell into stunned silence.

Aizawa, present in the commentator's box, immediately tensed. His scarf twitched, already on instinctive alert. "That—" He stopped himself, because he remembered the beings that he met in the morning. He is pretty sure that this dragon is someone from that group.

Present Mic, usually the loudest in the room, had gone completely mute. His sunglasses reflected the sky above, the faint shimmer of Ditian's shadow casting over them.

Endeavor, standing near the VIP section, frowned deeply. His flames surged in response to the sudden energy spike in the air, but he didn't move. He just stared, eyes narrowed, fists clenching.

In the student stands, Bakugo—who had never been afraid of anything in his damn life—felt something deep in his gut twist. His instincts, his battle-hardened reflexes, all screamed at him that whatever just made that noise was something not meant to be fought.

Izuku looked at the huge black dragon, he trembling slightly. This must be the Black Dragon King, Ditian. The only one to enter the Wish Granting Shop through the fate door. The king of all spirit beasts, Golden Eyes Black Dragon King.

-----

"What the actual hell." Shisui broke the silence first, his voice flat, stunned.

Booma, who had been mid-sip, audibly choked on her drink. "Pffft—!" She coughed violently, smacking her chest. "Okay—what—WHAT—"

Acier exhaled slowly, arms still crossed, but her gaze sharpened. "That's not just a dragon. That's a walking extinction event."

Rias, despite herself, felt a shiver run down her spine. As a devil, she was used to facing powerful beings. Hell, her own brother was the literal embodiment of Destruction. But this…

This was something else, from what she can feel.. Ditian is at the peak Dragon King level. Almost on verge of breaking through to Heavenly Dragon realm.

"I… see now why Xuanyu was so confident," she muttered under her breath.

Nezu, meanwhile, remained eerily quiet. His small, furry hands clenched behind his back, his black, beady eyes locked onto the hologram.

"Fascinating," he finally said, his tone unreadable.

Lily let out a long, long sigh, rubbing her temples with both hands. " Was it necessary to do it, this high profile?" she muttered to herself. " Today's day is gonna recorded in annanuls of history."

Booma, regaining her voice, jabbed a finger at the screen. "You all saw that, right?! That wasn't a normal transformation! That was an 'I'm about to rewrite the laws of nature' kind of transformation!"

Shisui, still staring at the screen, nodded absently. "Yeah. Yeah, I'm aware. My Sharingan is screaming at me right now."

The hologram picked up movement.

Xuanyu stepped forward, looking up at Ditian's titanic form, he smiled. This is the proud member of the dragon clan.

"Hah. Now that's a proper entrance," he mused, his voice carrying effortlessly despite the still-settling shockwaves.

Beside him, Irene smirked, placing a hand on her hip. " You look much more magnificent and deadly than dragon back home, very few, very very few dragons could rival you in strength."

Bibi Dong, arms crossed, let out a low hum of approval. " He got much stronger than last time, in fact just a few more years and he shall be able to ascend to ranks of godhood."

Albedo, on the other hand, sighed dreamily.

Her crimson eyes practically glowed as she clasped her hands together. "Such majesty… such overwhelming power…!" She shivered slightly, her voice dropping into a reverent whisper. " And he is my master's sub-ordinate…"

Xuanyu didn't even blink. "Alright. That's enough of that."

With effortless ease, he took a step forward—and leapt.

Irene followed suit, a flicker of draconic energy beneath her feet propelling her upward. Bibi Dong, with the natural grace of a Supreme Pontiff, soared without effort. Albedo, ever the devoted, ascended following behind Xuanyu.

Ditian didn't even react—his body was vast, limitless, an entire world unto itself.

And when they landed upon his colossal back, standing firm amidst the swirling golden energy crackling through his scales.

He moved.

Ditian shifted, his massive form adjusting as his wings unfurled.

A deep rumble echoed from his chest as he crouched slightly, the motion barely perceptible given his size. Then, with a powerful push, his wings beat downward, sending a strong gust of wind through the area. The ground beneath him cracked slightly from the sheer force, but nothing catastrophic—just a raw display of unmatched power and control.

Then, smoothly, he took off.

His massive body lifted effortlessly, rising into the sky with the grace of a creature completely at home in the air. Despite his overwhelming size, there was no wild thrashing, no struggle—just the smooth, powerful ascent of a being who had flown for millennia.

Xuanyu, standing on his back, let out a low whistle. "Alright, I'll admit—this is pretty damn impressive."

Irene crossed her arms, watching the landscape shrink below them. "It's one thing to know you're a dragon, but seeing you move like this? It's something else entirely."

Bibi Dong took a steadying breath, adjusting to the shifting air currents. "I almost expected something more violent. But this… this is effortless."

Albedo, however, was clutching the scales beneath her. Her eyes shimmered with something between exhilaration and pure admiration. "To soar upon the back of such a magnificent being… it is a privilege beyond words."

Xuanyu shot her a look. "Please do not start praying mid-flight."

Albedo did not confirm or deny that she was considering it.

As Ditian continued his ascent, the wind rushed past them, cool and crisp at this altitude. The world below grew smaller, the distant U.A. stadium barely a speck on the horizon.

Xuanyu smirked, arms folded. "Alright, Ditian. Let's see just how fast you can go."

And with that—Ditian surged forward, cutting through the sky like a shadow cast upon the clouds.
