Laudacen
is the ninth god of the Elven pantheon—deity of enchanted fighting arts and patron god of Salara City. His devoted followers, the Warrior-Sorceresses, are among the most respected figures in Elven society, known for both their strength and far-reaching influence.
Often called the Safety God, Laudacen earned this title through his union with Mata, the goddess of Heavenly Protection and daughter of the destroyer Devi. Through their union, Laudacen fathered numerous lesser immortal beings. Despite being the last among the Nine, his domain is revered by the others—especially by the queen of the pantheon, Vaelora, the Lady of the Silver Stars.
In the Holy Book of Illunareth, Vaelora speaks of Laudacen with deep reverence in a passage that reads:
> "May our blessed father bless thy lineage, O Ninth of Us. Thy servants are not to be trifled with. Thy wife, Mata, honored the Palace of Odrasil—our blessed father's home. O dear divine brother, cast thy protective eyes upon our humble palace..."
This passage reveals the profound bond between Vaelora, first of the pantheon, and Laudacen, the ninth. But as dark omens stir and ancient threats awaken, one must wonder—will their divine connection endure the trials yet to come?
