Alex just stands before Jose who kneels while shaking in fear with a lot of cold sweats all over his body that drench his clothes. The others are also unable to stand up because of the strong intimidating pressure that makes their knees very weak.
"I never planned to take this too far, but you really want to do this the hard way, aren't you, Jose?" Alex says it with a calm yet intimidating voice as he transforms into the Humanoid Kurama form.
It doesn't look that much different from Kurama's normal form because his body shape is pretty human-like already. Kurama's front legs are like human hands, after all. His hind legs are like those of a real fox though.
As soon as Alex transforms into the Humanoid Kurama form, the pressure that everyone feels increases. Kurama has an ability that affects emotions, so the fear that everyone feels now gets even stronger because the intimidation that Alex releases is also getting stronger.
The overwhelmingly intimidating pressure is so unbearable now that it makes everyone except for Jose faints. Jose becomes paler too and he can only look at the ground. He doesn't dare to look at Alex, but then Alex's shoes show up in his eyes.
A fluffy orange tail suddenly wraps around his head and lifts his face up without his consent. Jose's eyes tremble as he looks at Alex's scary humanoid Kurama form's red glowing eyes. He trembles more as Alex's face gets closer to his.
"You seem to enjoy people's suffering, huh, Guild Master Jose. But it seems you have never been in their positions. So why don't I help you experience the fear and helplessness that those people felt?"
Right after Alex says that, Jose suddenly finds himself in a very dark room. Then a pair of giant red glowing eyes appear in front of him. Then, a gigantic orange monster appears in front of Jose.
Kurama shows up in front of Jose with an angry expression. He growls, showing his big sharp fangs, and a lot of saliva comes out of his mouth, making him look hungry and angry, which just makes Jose even more terrified.
Jose doesn't know what kind of being is staring at him now. People fear the unknown and it also applies to Jose who doesn't know what creature Kurama is. Looking at Kurama's eyes only strengthens his fear.
Kurama raises his head and moves his right hand closer to Jose. He grins evilly before he flicks Jose. It's a weak flick for Kurama, but it's a strong hit for Jose, which sends him flying very far into the darkness.
Jose crashes onto the dark ground and rolls quite far. When he finally stops, Kurama already appears there, flicking him again in another direction. Kurama keeps doing this for a few minutes nonstop before finally stopping.
Too bad for Jose, Kurama doesn't stop because he feels bad for Jose. He just wants to share this fun with his siblings because suddenly the other Tailed Beasts appear there. They start throwing Jose around as if they are playing catch with a ball.
It lasts even longer than when Kurama played alone. They finally stop after half an hour because they are bored. Then Kurama and Shukaku who usually fight suddenly laugh happily as they grab Jose's arms and legs before they pull them together, ripping Jose's body in half.
Of course, it all doesn't happen in the real world because it was all just an illusion. Kurama can actually use Genjutsu. Genjutsu is a kind of Illusion Magic, but it's very different from most Illusion Magic.
Most Illusion Magic creates illusory figures or objects in the real world, like some kinds of projections. But Genjutsu creates the illusion directly in the targets' minds, making it as if they are dragged into another world.
Kurama's Genjutsu is not as strong as Uchiha's Mangekyo Sharingan's Genjutsu, but it's still very strong. It's even more effective when used on people in this world that don't know Genjutsu and those whose mental fortitude is quite weak.
Jose's mental strength is actually not as strong as his boasting. He isn't really a tough guy as he always appears to be. He likes making others suffer, but he himself never really suffers in similar ways to what those people go through.
That's why he can't stand the suffering that is inflicted on him now. Especially since this is a mind torture instead of physical one. His resistance to mind attack is weak like most people because they get hurt physically more often.
Alex stops Kurama's Genjutsu and unwraps the tail that holds Jose's head up. Jose's eyes are opened, but they don't have any light on them. He only stares forward blankly, not really looking at anything because he is unconscious.
When the orange fluffy tail is unwrapped from his head, Jose falls to the left, still with his blank eyes. Alex looks down and steps back to avoid the yellow puddle that forms right under Jose's crotch.
After looking at the unconscious Phantom Mages, Alex touches Jose, Sol, and Aria with his tails. Then he starts absorbing their magic power until they run out of it. He doesn't kill them because they are still Legal Mages from a Legal Guild.
Killing them will cause a problem even if they were the ones attacking him and actually tried to kill him. Reporting this to the Magic Council is also not an option because fights between Mages from Legal Guilds are normal.
Unless they kill each other, citizens get hurt, or there are some serious damages to properties, there won't be any serious sanctions. At most, they will receive some disciplinary punishments, which might just be a few days of jail time.
Alex then transforms his right arm into Shukaku's arm to place seals on Jose's, Aria's, and Sol's arms. They are cruel people, so he wants to give them some punishment by sealing their arms.
They won't be able to use their arms unless the seals are broken and it will be difficult because Shukaku's Seals have been improved using some Sealing Magic theories that Alex read.
The Tailed Beasts have been working together to improve their skills. It's something unimaginable and might not happen at all in their original world. But here, they can't manifest themselves in the real world. Only their skills and abilities can be shown, so they need to improve those skills.
Furthermore, unlike in the Naruto world where the shinobis that become their Jinchuriki can learn their own jutsus, Alex's abilities are fully dependent on them.
He can't use other magic, so he can only use their abilities by transforming into them, so he needs to improve their abilities and he succeeds in making them do it because they also don't want to lose to this world's Mages.
Besides, Alex respects them and truly treats them as his family and friends, not just some sources of power like how most shinobi saw them. He is different from Naruto, but the way he treats them is similar to Naruto, so they like him.
Anyway, after absorbing Jose's, Aria's, and Sol's magic power and sealing their arms, Alex leaves them there. But he grabs Gajeel, Juvia, and Totomaru with him as he leaves, putting them on Meteor's back after tying them up with ropes.
Alex wants to take these 3 back to Fairy Tail and recruit them to the Guild. They aren't really bad people, just some Mages that follow their Guild Master's order. Gajeel might be a rough guy, but he isn't really a cruel person like Jose, Sol, or Aria.
As for Totomaru, Alex has met him a few times and he isn't really a bad guy either. He just follows his Guild Master's orders like Gajeel and Juvia. His magic and skills are also interesting, so Alex always wants to recruit him when he recruits Gajeel and Juvia.
He doesn't need Sol and Aria though. They are cruel by nature and it will be hard to change them. Maybe they will change after this, but he doesn't want to take a risk if they don't change, so he just leaves them there.
Gajeel, Juvia, and Totomaru wake up at night. They find themselves tied and lined up near the fire camp. Meteor tells Alex that they've woken up, so he approaches them and places 3 plates of food in front of them.
"Let's get straight to the point. I've defeated all of you and it won't be strange if Phantom Lord will be disbanded soon. You guys have good talents and seem to be better people than the other 3, so why don't you join Fairy Tail?"
The 3 of them are sweating and don't even dare to look at Alex now. It sounds like a nice invitation, but they know that they don't really have any choices now. They don't know what happened to the other 3, but they know it should be worse than them and the same thing might happen if they refuse Alex's offer.
"You can eat the food in front of you after you agree." Alex grins evilly, confirming their suspicion that he'll only treat them nicely if they agree. So with no other choice, they agree to join Fairy Tail. Their lives are more valuable and Phantom Lord isn't really a Guild worth their dying loyalty, after all.
