The voices of a couple engaged in conversation could be heard.
"Are you sure it's okay?"
"What's the big deal? It's not like it's strangers. Those two are trustworthy."
"It's not that I don't trust them... But how could you just agree to it so suddenly?"
Ellie, who had let Owen have his first sleepover(?), nervously clasped her hands together.
After finishing his performance, Owen had insisted on staying longer with Sujin. Seeing Owen's difficulty, Mindy had offered to let him stay overnight, and Simon had readily accepted the proposal.
"You know how stubborn our son is. If we had said no, would he have come along quietly?"
"Still..."
"Besides, I like it. It's been a while since we've had such a cozy time, just the two of us."
