To have this man—her one in a billion—kneel before her and tend to her body with such devotion made her want to cry and laugh at the same time.
It filled her with a happiness so profound that she found herself at a loss for words.
Never in her life had she seen a man, not even her father or older brother, treat a woman with such deep and genuine tenderness.
They had always viewed women as playthings and something that was meant to possess and use.
Even her brother, who constantly claimed he loved his woman, clearly viewed her as someone beneath him.
