The palace hall fell into silence after hearing Eve's revelation.
'What? The queen killed someone. Is this true?'
'Is she really capable of doing that?'
The royal court officials darted their gaze back and forth between Queen Amara and Princess Eve.
Meanwhile, Queen Amara wasn't affected by Eve's accusation. She believed that Esmeralda deserved to die because she stole King Solomon from her.
"Do you have proof? You are making up some lies. No one will believe you here!" Queen Amara responded confidently.
"King Solomon is the witness. He knew what you did. But he covered up for your crime!" Eve spat back at her, glancing at her father.
King Solomon was taken aback for a moment. He couldn't look at Eve because he was guilty. What she said was true. But he couldn't admit that in front of everyone.
"You have to tell the truth, Father! This is the least you can do for my mother. I won't forgive you if you stay silent." Eve warned him.
