Chapter 202 - Chapter 201: No. 1 In The Three Lists!

At that moment, the entire Proving Ground of Gods and Demons—and all of Kepler—seemed to freeze at the sound of this momentous notification. Every idling evolutionary instinctively turned their gaze to this special announcement.

Since the world had been thrust into a month-long doomsday period, every evolutionary within the Proving Ground had become well aware of the significance of the level 10 job transfer. Discussions on new careers and advancements dominated both national and international forums, becoming the primary topic of conversation.

Rumors of A-level jobs were just the start; information hinted at even higher-level roles emerging. It became common gossip: speculating on who might complete their job transfer in the coming days.

In this buzz of chatter, however, one topic was perennially at the forefront: the elusive, highly coveted SSS-level class known as "The Scourge Of Life (SSS)". This post, which featured a simple yet captivating screenshot of "The Scourge Of Life" class, had been anonymously uploaded on Faeloria Country forum. While other evolvers flaunted their prospective careers, this post revealed something different—an undeniable screenshot of the genuine article.

The person behind this post, a member of Group 001, left a brief and provocative comment: "Forget pretending; just look at the job of White Emperor from our Group 001, and watch everyone kneel in awe."

That's right—the person who made the post was a member of Group 001.

Group 001 wasn't concerned with such matters. Previously, someone had even asked White Emperor if they could use this image to make a comparison on the forum.

Novak didn't refuse.

As a result, SSS-level job-changing occupations have become a hot topic on the forum. However, beyond discussions of the Scourge of Life, there's plenty of gossip about other SSS-level occupations as well.

But none of them had screenshots of evolutionary props.

After all, under normal circumstances, there is no way to take such screenshots.

Most could only admire from afar, filled with envy and aspiration, hoping someday to achieve a career that prestigious. Many even vowed to secure an SSS-level job transfer scroll as soon as possible. Yet for the vast majority, even an S-level role remained elusive, let alone the near-mythical SSS level.

Interest swirled not only around the scroll itself but also around the mystery of who would be the first on Kepler to complete such a transfer. Many questioned why White Emperor, despite possessing the SSS-level scroll, hadn't yet activated it. This hesitation fueled skepticism—some suspected White Emperor and Group 001 of fabricating the entire affair. After all, an SSS-level class was considered the pinnacle; why delay claiming it?

As a result, many believed the scroll had merely been something White Emperor stumbled upon, capturing a screenshot for notoriety rather than actually owning it.

But on this unforeseen day, the notification shattered everyone's doubts:

The first job transfer was complete.

Since the dawn of the apocalypse, Novak—the legendary figure who had captured the forum's fascination and was now celebrated as the White Emperor—had indeed become the first to secure a job transfer, solidifying his status in the evolutionary hierarchy!

National Rankings!?

After seeing this notification, everyone eagerly clicked through. A new feature appeared on the Cosmic Will Evolver interface: the long-awaited leaderboard function!

In the new leaderboard, everyone was stunned to find not just a single ranking but multiple tiers of rankings!

The most prominent, of course, was the Global Evolutionary Level Ranking. But on this list, there was only a single name displayed:

[Rank 1: Novak Yie (White Emperor), Level: 11. Occupation: Unknown (hidden). Affiliation: Faeloria Country.]

(Note: Only Evolutionaries at Level 10 or above who have completed a job transfer qualify for the leaderboard!)

(Note: Evolutionaries on the leaderboard receive an increased drop rate of +5-20%! Additionally, for each Evolutionary ranked in the top ten, the reputation of all Evolutionaries within that faction temporarily rises by +1!)

The leaderboard's arrival left everyone in shock—evolutionaries who ranked could now directly influence the fortunes of their entire nation! Some from smaller countries loudly condemned this mechanism as unfair. But the Cosmic Will coldly gave a choice: they could either strive to grow stronger within their own nation's camp or choose to join a different faction.

At this moment, the leaderboard's top position—the figure who had reached Level 11—belonged, undeniably, to the Faeloria Country, making it the ideal choice for aspiring evolutionaries.

Beyond the level leaderboard, there was also a Territory Leaderboard. Here, only a single city appeared: White Emperor City. Despite ten days passing since the doomsday erupted, no other evolutionary had managed to use a City-Building Order to create a recognized stronghold under the Cosmic Will.

Finally, there was the Secret Realm Development List. This ranking tallied the Nightmare-level and above Secret Realm Dungeon that had been successfully cleared. Here too, the Faeloria Country led by a wide margin.

Here's the corrected version:

The Nightmare-level secret realms posed a challenge beyond the reach of ordinary evolutionaries. Even within Chat Group No. 001, after seeing the difficulty level of the Somi-masen Mountain Path secret realm, many hesitated; despite Novak's prior clearance, few felt confident enough to attempt it.

And without securing the Somi Token before reaching Level 10, they would never gain access to the special "Somi Mountain" map.

It was clear that clearing Nightmare-level instances was a formidable task.

This announcement from the Cosmic Will—displaying the leaderboards—had once again elevated the Faeloria Country's reputation among evolutionaries worldwide.

Yet, in the midst of this global stir, Novak, the very figure at the center of attention, stood alone on the cliff's edge, eyes closed, deeply attuned to the changes within himself and to the powerful potential brought by his dual professions.
