Chapter 75 - Chapter 75: Love at First Sight

Hill had a rare, blissful dream.

In the dream, she was wearing a pure white wedding dress. Beside her stood none other than the sorcerer who had saved her life.

"Huff… huff…"

"Why would I dream something like this?" Hill muttered to herself, her cheeks burning as she woke up.

They had only just met, yet she dreamt of becoming his bride. It was mortifying.

As she calmed herself, the vivid memory of that moment surfaced—the moment when the sorcerer descended like a savior amidst her despair.

Even the formidable Holy Light Knight had been no match for him. His commanding presence as he froze everything in sight was deeply imprinted in her heart.

Hill couldn't help but feel a sense of security whenever she thought of him.

It seemed unbelievable, but she might truly have fallen for the sorcerer at first sight.

If she ever had the chance to marry him, she would say yes without hesitation!

"I wonder if the sorcerer will visit today," Hill murmured as she sat up, glancing out the window at the faint morning light.

Her gaze fell upon the dressing table and its assortment of makeup tools. She froze, then tilted her head in curiosity.

"Did another woman once live here?"

If so, could it have been the sorcerer's wife?

Sighing, Hill glanced at her reflection in the mirror.

She was confident in her appearance and figure, but she knew looks alone might not be enough to match someone as extraordinary as the sorcerer.

If he already had a wife, she wondered how beautiful and powerful that woman might be.

Still, she decided to apply some makeup, wanting to present her best self to the sorcerer.

Meanwhile, David was leading his four wives toward the cabin in the backwoods.

Along the way, he briefed them on Hill's situation as an earth witch.

When they arrived, Hill was stepping out of the cabin, and their eyes met.

Hill, with her natural witch instincts, immediately sensed the approaching group.

Relief washed over her as she spotted the sorcerer among them. However, as she exhaled, the slight movement caused her chest to rise and fall, drawing everyone's attention.

Among David's wives, Leah had the most prominent figure, but even she paled in comparison to Hill. Reina's figure was more balanced, Amy was petite, and Cynthia was nearly flat.

In just one encounter, Hill's striking presence left an impression on all four women.

"Hello, I'm Leah," Leah greeted warmly, quickly recovering her composure and stepping forward with a gentle smile.

"Hello, I'm Hill," Hill replied, nervously introducing herself. She didn't know who these four women were, but she guessed they were companions of the sorcerer.

Amy and Cynthia also smiled, welcoming Hill as a new witch companion.

David shifted his attention back to Hill and smiled.

"I didn't have the chance to introduce myself properly yesterday. I'm David, the lord of Frostwolf Ridge."

Hill's eyes widened in astonishment.

"You're the Frostwolf Duke?"

She hadn't expected her savior to not only be a powerful sorcerer but also a noble lord and a formidable knight!

David nodded and introduced the four women beside him.

"These are Leah, Amy, Reina, and Cynthia. They are my wives."

Hill's heart raced as she processed the information.

The sorcerer had four wives already, yet it gave her hope. If he could marry four, perhaps she could become his wife too.

David, unaware of Hill's thoughts, was more curious about her powers as an earth witch.

"My ability is earth manipulation," Hill explained with a smile.

She scanned the area and selected an empty spot. Closing her eyes, she focused her spiritual power, causing earthy energy to swirl around her hands.

When she pressed her palms to the ground, the earth rippled before a sturdy stone pillar rose, forming a rocky platform.

David's eyes lit up as he inspected the pillar.

Hill's power allowed her to reshape the earth, and even without her magical reinforcement, the stone retained its natural strength. With additional magical reinforcement, it could become as durable as reinforced rock.

"Can you use your abilities to build structures?" David asked, his excitement evident.

Sensing his enthusiasm, Hill felt a faint joy in her heart. She smiled confidently and said, "I'm from the Silverstone family."

"The renowned stonemasons of the Silvermoon Kingdom?" David asked in surprise.

The Silverstone family was famous not for any particular bloodline ability but for their exceptional skill in stonework. The Silvermoon City itself had been built by their hands.

David hadn't expected Hill to hail from such a lineage. Combining her identity as an earth witch with her expertise as a stonemason made her the ultimate architect.

His initial plan to use Hill's powers for infrastructure now seemed achievable far sooner than expected.

Hill nodded. Before awakening as a witch, she had chosen to leave her family to protect them from being implicated. However, she had taken many of the family's stonecraft manuscripts with her and was confident in her skills as a stonemason.

Even Reina, who usually maintained a stoic expression, smiled at this revelation.

As the one managing Frostwolf Ridge's affairs, Reina understood the territory's deficiencies. Compared to the Frostwolf family's former northern stronghold or even Icebear City, Frostwolf Ridge lagged far behind.

The idea of building Frostwolf Ridge into a proper settlement had seemed daunting, but Hill's abilities offered a new path forward.

"I'd like you to secretly construct a sorcerer's city deep within Frostwolf Forest. Is that something you can do?" David asked.

"A sorcerer's city?" Hill repeated, surprised.

David nodded and explained his plan. "I aim to gather more sorcerers and provide them a safe haven within Frostwolf Forest. A hidden sorcerer's city would ensure their safety."

Hill's eyes sparkled with excitement.

The idea of a dedicated city for sorcerers resonated deeply with her. It could provide her companions in the Witches' Cooperative with a secure and stable home

under the protection of Frostwolf Ridge.

With renewed determination, Hill smiled and said, "Leave it to me, my lord."
