Felicia stopped before the largest building at the center of the ruined town.
Its roof was half-collapsed. Walls cracked. Debris scattered.
She turned slightly, her tone as even as ever.
"You."
A nearby officer straightened immediately.
"Y-Y-Yes, Princess?"
She motioned toward the structure with a small gesture of her gloved hand.
"Establish and repair this building. Make it our command base."
Her golden eyes shifted toward the surrounding remains of the town wall.
"Set up a full defensive perimeter."
She walked forward a few steps, her boots silent on the stone.
"If possible, repair the walls. Station range units along the high ground, and warriors evenly across the defenses."
Her gaze sharpened just slightly.
"Kill any army that approaches."
The officer flinched.
"U-Umm… Princess, if it's the Halfling or Human army—?"
Felicia didn't turn around.
"Give them a warning shot."
Her voice remained soft. Unrushed.
