After a routine training session, while the soldiers were free to do as they pleased, Ye Chen, rather boldly, crawled out of the training field and walked toward the main gate. Soldiers were not allowed to leave the training grounds, let alone the military district. Hence, Ye Chen could only wander around the gate. At that moment, he spotted an old man watering plants at the gate.
"Old man, are you watering the plants?" Ye Chen approached, starting to make friendly conversation with a smile.
"Yes, are you serving here?" the old man asked cheerfully.
"Yes!" Ye Chen scratched his head, momentarily unsure of what to say next, but the old man asked, "What are you doing out here instead of training properly, young man?"
