[Flashback: The Temple of Nyx – Moments Before the Fall]
The Temple of Nyx stood silent beneath the endless void, stars weeping silver light upon its ancient stones. In that sacred space between existence and non-being, Jin stepped forward, his expression unreadable, yet resolute.
Nyx was already waiting, her silhouette cloaked in the essence of the night itself. She didn't speak at first. Instead, she held out her hands—offering a black ring and a necklace carved from shadows and stardust.
"This ring," she finally said, "contains the other half of Erebus' authority. The first half already flows within you."
Jin accepted the ring with a nod. "Yes. The Elixir of the Gods healed my Abyssal Core… and my Primordial essence. I can feel it."
Without another word, he crushed the ring in his palm.
Darkness erupted from within, enveloping him like a second skin. Power—raw and absolute—surged through him, whispering long-forgotten truths.
Nyx smiled faintly. "Now… you're complete. A new Primordial, forged from lightless origins."
Jin exhaled slowly. "Then I have my own Primordial Dream. That means I can defeat Gaia."
But her smile faded.
"No, my son," she whispered, placing her hand upon his head, "we—those born before—lost our Dreams long ago. Because of the Divine Hierarchy… because of her."
Jin's brow furrowed. "Why?"
"She… that wretched tyrant," Nyx said, her voice trembling with ancient hatred, "has a perfect connection to the Monarchs. She used it to shackle us—to suppress our nature. That's why she stands above us."
Jin gritted his teeth. "Then what are we supposed to do?"
Nyx raised the necklace. "This is Erebus' final gift. He foresaw this day. When all would hinge on one decision. One soul."
She pressed the necklace into his hand and then rested her palm on his chest. Jin's eyes widened as he felt her divine energy flowing into him.
"Wait—stop! If you give me your power, you'll—!"
But Nyx silenced him with a gentle smile.
"Let me go. My beloved Erebus waits for me. I was angry when he chose you as his successor. But now… I understand."
Her form shimmered and slowly faded into the void.
"Rise, Jin Shang. As the Primordial God of Darkness and Night."
[Present: The Forgotten Garden – Gaia's Reckoning]
Jin stood before Gaia in the Forgotten Garden, the ground fractured from their battle, the stars above trembling with anticipation.
He reached into his cloak and drew out the necklace—Nyx's final gift.
"At first, I didn't know how to use this," he said, holding it up. "But now… I understand."
Gaia narrowed her eyes. "What is that…?"
"This necklace holds the purest essence of Abyssal Power," Jin said calmly. "Erebus feared I couldn't handle it. But now… I can. And I will. Because the corruption I carry can pierce even your Primordial Dream. Now see my corruptation power is affecting on your Dream."
He smiled slightly. "Congratulations, Gaia. I've fulfilled your Absolute Line."
"You mongrel—!" she roared.
But Jin cut her off.
"No. You will address me properly. As the Primordial God of Equilibrium. Or perhaps… the Primordial God of Darkness and Night. Or maybe just—the New Abyssal King."
And then he shattered the necklace in his hand.
A wave of cosmic force exploded outward, shaking the entire garden.
[Congratulations. You have created your own System.]
[Condition Fulfilled. Goal Reached.]
[You have ascended as the True Abyssal King.]
[Merging all statuses…]
[New Essence Awakened: True King]
Darkness bloomed around Jin like a second cosmos. His aura transformed—deep blue, black, and violet swirling like galaxies. His long black hair turned a gleaming silver-white. His eyes, once cold blue, now shimmered gold with divine radiance.
Gaia stepped back in horror. "That aura… it's controlled. Refined. That kind of mana… only Monarchs can possess…"
"You finally see it. You wanted to manipulate me, bind me to the Absolute Line. But your arrogance was your mistake."
Gaia snarled. "You're just like your father... Han Jin Hyuk... the reincarnation of Kronos."
Jin's breath caught. "…What? What did you say ?"
"Yes," she hissed, eyes glowing with ancient fury. "And your mother, Eva… she is the reincarnation of Rhea. So that's the reason you are so special. You were destined to become a god killer. You are born for overturn the Olympus. But now you are something far worse."
Jin's voice dropped to a whisper. " So I am not walking in a new path."
Now Gaia was feeling the taste of fear. She had understood that her death was approaching.
Jin approached slowly, his voice a low echo. " "Do you think if I kill you, everything ends? You're wrong, Gaia."
"If I die," Gaia warned, "the Dream collapses! You know what that means!"
He vanished—and appeared in front of her in a flash of black light, grabbing her face.
"You talk too much," he murmured. "You were going to say that. So I'll spare myself the speech."
His hand glowed with corrupted Abyssal light. "I'm sending you where all fallen gods decay."
She struggled, but he continued. "You're wondering what will happen down there? Let me answer—there's no turning back. As for your Dream… won't be wasted. I have other plans."
He began draining her of power.
Gaia screamed, her authority melting into his core like a dying star. Her screams echoed across the marble courtyard like thunder breaking through time itself.
She broke free, gasping. "W-What have you done to me?!"
"I took everything," Jin said calmly. "Your authority. Your reign. Your Dream is free now."
Gaia fell to her knees. For the first time, her expression was not filled with pride or rage—but sorrow.
"Please…" she whispered. But Jin stopped her
" This is your final time so tell me what's your final wish."
Gaia who knelt before him. "Free me… from this curse…"
Jin paused.
That wasn't the response he expected.
"If I die… the convergence ends," she said. "But the Monarchs will awaken. They will come… for you."
Jin gave a soft nod.
"Let them come."
With a final breath of power, he raised his hand—and struck.
Her body disintegrated into the ether, consumed by the purest Abyss.
The tyrant of the Dream was no more.
And in her place…
stood a King born of shadows.
Jin Shang—the Abyssal King. The Final Primordial. The Beginning and the End
