"Hmm, check something for me," Leon said, leaning casually against the wall. His gaze shifted from Emma and Melissa, who were seated in the lounge, to the front. His expression hardened. "Seventeen or eighteen years ago, find everything you can. Anything related to Eleanor Whitmore."
"Everything, sir?" Julian asked over the line, his confusion clear from his tone. Gathering information about someone as high-profile as Eleanor Whitmore was already challenging, but digging into events from nearly two decades ago would be even harder.
"Am I not clear enough?" Leon's low tone, paired with the short question, was enough to make Julian agree immediately.
"I'm sorry, sir. I will get to it. Is there anything else, sir?" Julian asked before ending the call.
"One more thing," Leon said, glancing at Melissa. Whatever they were talking about couldn't be heard from where he was standing, and it made him curious. "Remember when I asked you to check on Melissa's background?"
