Sofia and the old man's gaze travelled to the door, seeing Maya. Even Eduardo was shocked at her sudden arrival and her dress. He leaned back on the couch, with a grin appearing on his face.
"You! Who are you?" Sofia asked.
"Oh my!" She covered her mouth with her hands, letting out a fake gasp. She walked closer to Sofia and Sofia moved away from her.
"Did I forget to introduce myself? I'm Maya... Or should I say, Maya Ivanov," she smirked.
"Lies! You can never be an Ivanov. There's only one daughter in this family. That means you're..."
"That's right, princess. I'm married to the man you wish to claim" Maya got closer to her, touching her hair. Sofia froze as tears rolled down her cheek.
"But, my father promised to give him to me,"
"Give him to you? What a shabby promise." Maya frowned, grabbing her hair. Sofia shrieked in pain. Mr Vladimir tried to separate them. But she pushed him away and he fell back onto the couch.
Eduardo chuckled loudly.
