Liang Shiyu opened her mouth upon hearing the words, but when she looked at Xu Jinzhi, she seemed utterly unable to speak.
Merely being looked at, Liang Shiyu already felt extremely embarrassed, but she had come here out of necessity—there were things she couldn't avoid saying.
After a few seconds of brief silence, Liang Shiyu said with a trembling voice, "I'm sorry!"
Xu Jinzhi looked somewhat perplexed, not understanding why Liang Shiyu was suddenly apologizing to her. Was there something that had happened which she was unaware of?
Before Xu Jinzhi could figure it out, He Shuying continued, "What happened last time was her fault. She shouldn't have said those things, and she's learned her lesson."
"But no matter what, the wrong was hers, and she needs to apologize to you."
After saying this, He Shuying fell silent, seemingly waiting to see Xu Jinzhi's reaction.
