One look at my status, everyone who doesn't know anything about beast taming would be of the opinion that I didn't improve much, but they are both right and wrong at the same time.
Compared to beasts, yes, I didn't improve as them, but as a beast tamer, I did improve a lot.
As one should understand that, beast tamers wouldn't improve as fast as the beasts themselves. This is why multiple beasts are needed to improve the levels of the tamers.
If one could actually improve as much as their beast improve, then the tamer would be at a higher rank than his beasts, and the rank difference would increase as time goes on.
This is not how it normally goes.
The beast would be of a higher rank than the tamer, except in certain cases, where the tamer can have multiple pets at a time. Also, there is a talent that can improve the level by the same amount as their pet beast does.
