(Chris's PoV)
While Jay prepared the food, Trish and I set up the beddings as we did the previous nights, but unlike then, she didn't work with me, but set up on her own, while I did on my own.
For whatever reason, she is feeling embarrassed. It's best not to bring up that as that could be even more embarrassing for her. So, I decided to be quiet about it, act as if I saw nothing.
That would be for the best.
"Okay, the food is ready", Jay announced after a while.
During the last two nights, it only took a few minutes to prepare food for us, but as we needed more than yesterday, it took a little more time.
Once the food was done, I wolfed down my share and so did everyone, including our beasts. I guess everyone is very hungry.
This is another thing we would never bring up again, no matter what.
After dinner, we went to our beds and lied down, hoping that the full belly would bring us to dreamland.
