Even from a distance, Minato, Kushina, and Reika could feel the tremors from the battle.
Minato used the Flying Thunder God Technique to teleport to the rooftop, looking towards the source of the commotion.
The moment he saw the towering blue giant and the wooden dragon coiling through the sky, his expression changed drastically.
He knew exactly who was fighting.
With another flicker, he returned to the room. Kushina and Reika immediately noticed the shift in his demeanor.
"Minato? What's wrong?" Kushina asked with concern.
Minato wanted to appear composed for her sake, but he couldn't suppress his grave tone.
"Tonari is fighting a powerful intruder inside Konoha. The opponent is incredibly strong, which is why the battle is causing such massive destruction."
Upon hearing this, both Kushina and Reika's expressions changed.
Watching Minato hastily put on his battle gear, Kushina, though struggling with her large belly, urged him,
"Minato, you need to go help Tonari! If he's forced to fight at full power in Konoha, the enemy must be terrifying. As the leader of his guard, your place is by his side."
Fully armed, Minato nodded solemnly.
"You're right. Tonari needs me now."
But just as he prepared to leave, Reika bit her lip and spoke hesitantly.
"Minato... I don't think you should go."
Minato frowned slightly.
"Why?"
"Because you're not just Tonari's friend or the head of his guard. You're also Kushina's husband and the father of her child."
Reika took a deep breath and continued,
"Kushina's due date is only days away. If anything unexpected happens, it's not just the baby at risk—Kushina herself could die. And if she loses control, the Nine-Tails could go berserk."
Minato's eyes widened.
Tonari had specifically instructed Reika before leaving: No matter what happens, even if half of Konoha is destroyed, do not leave Kushina's side. Especially now.
This was the most unstable period for Kushina's seal. Any unnecessary shock or trauma could trigger a premature release of the Nine-Tails, resulting in her and the baby's deaths.
Minato clenched his fists.
Reika wasn't wrong. But at the same time, he thought, The risk of an attack here is lower than the immediate battle Tonari is facing.
He also refused to believe that two powerful enemies would infiltrate Konoha at the same time.
Besides, he had Flying Thunder God—he could move instantly between locations. As long as Kushina and Reika could hold out for a few seconds, he'd be able to return in time.

His hands clenched, as if grasping invisible weapons.
Tonari's wooden dragons were severely battered, but he showed no panic.
Instead, he clapped his hands together.
"Wood Release: Wooden Golem Technique!"
A massive wooden figure resembling a wrathful guardian deity rose from the earth. One of the wooden dragons coiled around its body, integrating into its form.
The other, though heavily damaged, wrapped around its arm, transforming into a massive wooden blade.
Boom!
The wooden blade clashed against Susanoo's chakra swords, shattering upon impact—only to regenerate instantly before clashing again.
However, Susanoo wielded two weapons.
While one was blocked by the wooden blade, the other was caught in the jaws of the wooden dragon.
Now, the wooden golem had a free hand.
With a massive fist, it swung directly at Susanoo's face.
Madara's expression darkened.
Attacking my face again? This brat really has no respect.
But he was Madara. He had four arms.
Clang!
Susanoo caught the wooden golem's punch in its massive hand.
And with its remaining hand, it swung directly at Tonari himself.
BOOM!
The wooden golem crashed backward, skidding across the battlefield. The entire village shook from the impact.
If not for the battle occurring in a remote area, countless Konoha homes would have been destroyed.
Hiruzen Sarutobi and the other shinobi finally arrived on the battlefield.
But upon witnessing the colossal figures, they hesitated.
This level of combat was beyond anything they had ever seen.
Even though Tonari seemed slightly disadvantaged, they couldn't see a clear victor.
"This is insane! Is this really Tonari's power? The legendary 'God of Shinobi' might not have been stronger than this!"
Nara Shikaku and the others were in awe.
Hiruzen's expression was solemn as he stared at Madara's Susanoo.
"…That can't be…"
Shikaku turned to him.
"Sandaime-sama, do you recognize this technique?"
Hiruzen swallowed, then nodded grimly.
"I once read about it in a report from my teacher, the Second Hokage. A massive chakra construct, wielded only by the Uchiha Clan's Mangekyō Sharingan… It's called Susanoo."
"An Uchiha?"
Shikaku was shocked.
If the enemy was from Konoha's Uchiha Clan, why hadn't they staged a coup already?
Suddenly, a shadowy figure rose from the ground.
A voice—hoarse, yet magnetic—spoke.
"If I'm not mistaken… that man is none other than Uchiha Madara."
Orochimaru had arrived.
"Uchiha… Madara?!"
Everyone felt a chill run down their spines.
Madara—the legendary rival of Hashirama.
"The First Hokage killed Madara," someone muttered. "Even his corpse was personally buried by the Second Hokage…"
Orochimaru chuckled, his tongue flicking out as he licked his lips.
"There's no such thing as impossible. Resurrection is not beyond reach… and neither is immortality."
Hiruzen's brows furrowed.
He knew what his former student was hinting at.
But this was not the time to pursue it.
Hiruzen took a deep breath.
"If that truly is Madara, then Tonari cannot face him alone. Prepare for battle."
He tightened his grip on his staff.
"Don't die on me, old man," Orochimaru smirked.
"You should worry about yourself," Hiruzen shot back.
Turning to Shikaku, he barked,
"Evacuate half of Konoha—now!"
Shikaku nodded and took command.
On top of the wooden golem, a special kunai materialized in front of Tonari.
He grabbed it instantly.
A flash of golden light.
Minato appeared beside him, radiating confidence.
"Tonari, I'm here to help."
But instead of gratitude, he was met with fury.
"You idiot! Why are you here?!"
Minato's confident smile froze.
Tonari's voice was like ice.
"The enemy isn't alone. Their real target is Kushina. They want Kurama."
Minato's face drained of color.
In the instant before he teleported away—
BOOM!
An explosion ripped through their home.
Tonari's pupils dilated.
"If anything happens to them… I will bury you both."
Madara grinned.
"That's the look I wanted to see."
Tonari's chakra erupted.
A blue aura surged around him—
Susanoo.
Madara's grin widened.
"Good. Now… let me teach you how to truly wield a Mangekyō."
With a wave of his hand—
