As Chris and his group walked away, their footsteps fading into the distance, Dave and the others had turned in the opposite direction leading to their assigned destination.
But Eric's gaze won't stop lingering on the hybrid that stood motionless beside them. And since Dave was here, he had decided to ask a question. "Chris said you were able to control this thing, so what do we do to it now?"
Dave's response was casual, "Well, I'll just let it go its way." He instructed the hybrid to head back to the laboratory, its purpose now to defend the lab against any potential threats.
With its strength, Dave was confident it could handle any beasts or intruders. So putting it in charge of the lab was the best option since he'll be revisiting the place tomorrow for a very important task.
