Everyone in the office was shocked when Oliver asked Claire. Is he really pregnant or not. Even Lucy and Bryan who had just arrived were surprised by it, even though Lucy already knew about her friend's current situation.
"What? Claire is pregnant?" they asked in surprise when they heard that.
They felt like they couldn't believe it because Claire didn't seem to be close to anyone and he had said that he didn't have a boyfriend.
"Is that true? Whose child are you pregnant with?" asked Bryan who ran up to him.
They kept asking him questions, as if not giving him any room to speak. Especially Oliver who immediately grabbed both of Claire's hands.
"Take it easy, if no one wants to admit it then I'll take responsibility for you. I can be the father of the child in your womb right now!" he said in a serious tone. But Claire knew that Oliver was just talking out of turn.
After all, of course he didn't want Oliver to be the father of his child because Fein was clearly there for him.
