This man was related to her. She couldn't believe it.
She sat naked on the bed one knee to her chest as she leans forwards a curious pout of being lost in thought on her face.
"Have you ever met great-grandfather then?" She breaks the silence asking Charlie who is perched at the window sill.
He doesn't turn around.
"I have met him before." Charlie hums carding a hand through his hair, playing with the tip of his hair before finally turning over his shoulder.
"What did he call you?" She tilts her head.
"Well I probably knew him way before you. Cha-Cha was it?" He chuckles reminiscing.
The room was quiet after that.
"Do you hate me?" Charlie asks.
"No." Ah-Reum answers looking away.
"Then why do you want to end our relationship?"
"Well, for starters, we are cousins––"
"––Barely related cousins." Charlie interjects.
"Still feels wrong." She huffs hiding her head in her hands.
Hearing a sigh and the bed dipping moments after told Ah-Reum that he was sitting on the bed with her.
"Do you regret?"
She looks up and Charlie is centimeters away from her face, eyes slitted and glancing down at her with an overcast stare.
Storms were raging in those once electric blue eyes, a fresh cyan a cobalt gray. Almost as if all the color was sucked out of it.
He snatches himself away and faces the door.
"Who the hell could that be?" He mutters.
She didn't even hear the door.
Ah-Reum went into defensive mode, throwing on her clothes and zooming towards the door.
When she opened her door there was Kang Deok-Su. A grin on his face.
"Wow Mi-Young was right. You really don't stay with one partner very long. Did that other boy bore you?" He grins.
"What do you want? Wait… Mi-Young?"
"I am just as surprised as you, when I heard you dated my sister… at first, I wanted to rip you to shreds. But I realized this was perfect for me."
"Bamsaek, uncommon as it is. She told me about how you were super secretive about your family." His smile is wide. "So I did a little research on your ex-boyfriend." He pulls out a small casing clicking it, it unfurls into a butterfly knife.
"Turns out he is the great-grandson of the biggest land developers in the world. Now imagine my surprise when I overhear that there is a red headed girl with fiery eyes that they are searching for." He flicks his knife around his swift fingers.
"With a Nigerian mother? Well what an ordeal you are in. Or should I say, Ah-Reum Seol?"
"And I will make a lot of money from this too." Deok-Su mutters to himself.
He races into the room catching Au-Reum off guard. She bites kicks and screams and Charlie runs to her rescue. But Kang Deok-Su slams him into a wall leaving a bloody stain.
When she finally catches herself and is ready to fight back, the alpha bites her arm, his poison flowing through her body.
"That's right. Sleep."
–––––––––––––
She wakes up to the sound of voices around her and a bunch of loud voices. And her eyes can only find darkness. Light seeps through the crack of the door.
When she reaches out to open it a voice speaks causing her to recoil away.
"This is impossible that the Seol heir has been under our nose this entire time! She has been to one of our gatherings. Not to mention she was together with our daughter and son!" A effeminate voice says.
"Ji-Seong, please calm down." A deep voice says.
"No,I will not, what happens if she tried to kill our children Eun-Tae!" Ji-Seong cries.
"I… I don't know." Eun-Tae— The deep voice says. "Perhaps it will be all out war."
Another person walks into the room this time it is a voice she recognizes.
"Where is she?" The man who destroyed her life asks.
"She has been locked in the closet."
With a frown she pushes the door open with all her strength.
It flies off its hinges and slams to the ground.
Tiger…
Hunter…
Prey…
Sunburst eyes look at the old man. He was giving into to age much more than when she last saw him.
"You thought… you could try and kill my family, but here you are worrying about repercussion, what a joke." She grins.
"Who do you think you are?" The old man asks.
"I am Seol-Moon Ah-Reum of course." She puts a finger to her chin in a cute manner.
The looks on the faces of the people in the room was rich especially when the whole family walked in.
"Not possible. The Moons never had an offspring with the Seol." Another less older man says, looking over to what she could assume would be the most eldest man's father.
"Why don't you all introduce yourselves?" She says taking a seat at the table and waving a hand out motioning them to sit.
They then sit and then introduce themselves and their partners.
The eldest alpha is Tae-Yang and his husband is Joon-Yeong, the next eldest is Tae-Joon and his husband Eun-Woo, and finally we have Eun-Seong's parents Eun-Tae and Ji-Seong. They all in a strange way look like Eun-Seong and Eun-Ji.
The men in the room stare at her as she rests her head on her interwoven hands.
She nods and then a sharp inhale followed by a long sigh.
"What do you know about the Moon family?" She asks calmly.
"They own outer space and are rich enough to own the planet more than ten times over." Tae-Yang says.
"They are also known for the ability to warp time and created teleportation making it easier to traverse space, the only problem is that ––" Ji-Seong says before being cut off by Tae-Joon:
"––But they won't let anyone leave this godforsaken rock!"
"I only heard of them having a son." Eun-Woo— Eun-Seong's omega grandfather explains.
"Is that so?" Ah-Reum asks, a Cheshire smile curling up her features.
She rolls her eyes and walks over to a photo frame with Eun-Seong and Eun-Ji sitting down together in traditional Korean clothes and inspects it.
Placing the frame down gently, she spins on her heels to face Eun-Seong's family.
The Kims were long in charge of society long before her great-grandfather. It was time for a change.
"You're an alpha right? Your grandmother was Beom-Gyu's youngest?" Tae-Yang the eldest Kim asks.
"That is correct."
"To which?" He questions.
"To both." Ah-Reum rolls her eyes.
"So your grandmother and mother are both Alpha's?" Tae-Yang shares a glance with his family.
"Why so curious?"
Tae-Yang stands beginning to approach her.
"You were that young girl there in that house… Yes, the little girl with red hair. Your skin has gotten darker."
If anytime was the wrong time, it would be now.
Tae-Yang grips her throat roughly and pulls Ah-Reum into his direction.
The door jingles and in comes Eun-Ji.
She pauses and looks up at the two of them.
Eun-Ji blinks and takes off her shoes in silence and walks through the living room.
Her eyes find the closet door broken off the hinges on the floor.
"Great-grandfather?" She asks cautiously.
"Why is Ah-Reum here?" She grimaces.
"It is none of your damn business." He growls.
She squeaks and her eyes widen as she backs away.
"Where is the rest of the Seols?" The older man asks.
"As if I would tell you." Ah-Reum hisses as his grip tightens.
"Who are the Seols?" Eun-Ji asks. "Actually, I will just search it up."
He stares at his great-grandaughter with an annoyed expression.
"You are… Why didn't you tell me!" She yells.
"Why should I have? I had no reason to trust you with something like that." Ah-Reum explains, gripping Tae-Yang's wrist with both hands and tightly wrings his arm, rubbing in opposing directions.
"Ahh! It burns!" Tae-Yang screams out.
When he drops her she puts some distance between him and herself.
"You said your mother was dead… Is that even the truth?" Eun-Ji questions.
Her mother. That bright red haired woman with a slender but muscular build and blazing tiger eyes.
"Maybe it is time for the Seols to come back."
The Kims in the room all look in utter shock at Ah-Reum.
"Your hair… It is glowing." Eun-Woo, Eun-Ji's grand father says, the omega looks utterly afraid.
Extending down her back as streaks of white pattern across her skin like white tiger stripes black tipped fingers.
She pounces tackling Tae-Yang to the ground.
Just as she was about to slice him to pieces as revenge the door opens.
"Somebody just left the door open?" A husky woman's voice speaks.
Ah-Reum slowly looks up and in the doorway was one person she thought she would never see again because of how recognizable she is.
"Mom?" She asks looking at the woman.
The mysterious woman pulls down her sunglasses revealing tiger colored eyes like bright sunbursts. She stands arms crossed and head cocked to the side. Leather jacket drapped over her shoulders. A halter neck white leather zip up top and some biker leather shorts with garters on her coffee brown fishnet stockings. And a pair of black military boots.
"Ms. Bamsaek?" Eun-Ji stutters.
"You cheated on my daughter so many times yet you are still around her?" She questions.
"Come, let us head home." She says.
"Yes Mom." There was no denying it. That was a prime alpha they were in the presence of.
