Rivana looked up at him, thinking he would be shocked or, worse, paint her as a criminal without knowing the whole story. That's what everyone did that night, blaming her for taking an innocent's life over a simple mistake.
Instead, all she saw was a blank stare. It seemed more like he didn't care if she was a murderer or not if she had killed someone or thrown someone off a building. Did he trust her that much? Or did they already investigate it and believe she was innocent without the need for her to prove it?
