Chapter 303 - Chapter 303: Sis, How Did You Even Manage This?

"So this is Konohagakure?"

"Wow... It's so beautiful..."

Temari couldn't help but exclaim in amazement as she took in the bustling streets of the village.

She had thought that, after all the reforms and development, Sunagakure had become quite prosperous. But compared to what lay before her now, the difference was like night and day.

Kankurō rubbed his hands together, eyes gleaming with excitement.

He must have hit the jackpot—who would have thought he'd actually get to live in Konoha from now on? Compared to their past circumstances, this was like soaring straight to the top.

The only one who remained indifferent was Gaara. He showed no interest in their surroundings, his gaze fixed intently on Uchiha Mirai, who was walking ahead of them.

Nothing else mattered to him.

For Gaara, the most important thing was growing stronger as quickly as possible and proving his worth in front of Mirai-sama.

Led by Mirai, the group soon arrived at his residence.

When they laid eyes on the luxurious estate before them, Temari, Kankurō, and Gaara were left speechless in astonishment.

A single thought crossed all their minds at the same time—

This is like a paradise on earth!

Passing through the picturesque courtyard, they entered the reception hall.

After signaling for them to take a seat, Mirai finally spoke:

"From now on, you'll be settling in Konoha. There will be attendants to take care of your daily needs."

"You don't need to worry about money either. I will arrange for you to enroll in Konoha's ninja academy."

"If you have any other requests, you can let the caretaker know. She will relay them to me."

Hearing Mirai's arrangements, Temari, Kankurō, and Gaara all nodded eagerly, their excitement evident.

Being able to live in Konoha was already more than they could have hoped for, but to have someone personally looking after them?

And they could even study at Konoha's ninja academy!

This level of treatment was far beyond anything they had imagined.

Seeing that none of them had any objections, Mirai smiled.

"I also have some things for you all. Wait here for a moment."

Of course, they had no complaints. They sat quietly in their chairs, not daring to make a sound.

A moment later, Kimimaro entered the room.

Upon seeing Mirai, Kimimaro bowed respectfully before speaking somewhat cautiously.

"Emperor-sama, these are the items you requested Orochimaru-sama to prepare."

"I see."

"Then I'll take my leave."

"Go ahead."

Once Kimimaro was gone, Mirai unsealed one of the scrolls, and a massive fan appeared in his hand.

"Temari, this is the Giant Folding Fan. Its frame and fabric are made from special materials that allow excellent chakra conduction."

"It also enhances Wind Release techniques."

"Take it—this will be your new weapon."

Temari's face lit up with delight as she gazed at the fan.

As the former princess of Sunagakure, she was well aware of how rare and valuable chakra-conducting weapons were.

Their worth could easily be considered priceless.

And yet, Mirai-sama was gifting her something so precious…

Temari hesitated, waving her hands in refusal. "Mirai-sama, this is far too valuable."

Mirai replied coolly, "I had this made specifically for you. Just take it."

Hearing this, Temari's eyes instantly turned red.

No one had ever treated her so well before.

After handing the fan to Temari, Mirai turned his attention to Kankurō.

"Kankurō, take this puppet."

With that, a puppet appeared before Kankurō.

Noticing his curiosity, Mirai gave a brief explanation. "You know about Sasori of the Red Sand, don't you?"

At that, Kankurō immediately nodded. "Of course! He was Sunagakure's most brilliant puppet master!"

His own goal in life was to become a master puppeteer like Sasori.

Mirai chuckled. "Sasori once lost to me. This puppet was originally part of his own body. It's yours now."

"Additionally, these scrolls contain notes on Sasori's puppet-making techniques. You can study them when you have time."

Hearing this, Kankurō's breath grew unsteady.

He was so overwhelmed with excitement that he forgot to say thank you.

This was the legacy of Sunagakure's greatest puppet master—something that every puppeteer dreamed of obtaining.

And now, it belonged to him…

Seeing Kankurō trembling with emotion, Mirai didn't pay it much mind.

To him, Sasori's remaining possessions—aside from the Rebirth Core still in Orochimaru's lab—held little value. Rather than leaving them to gather dust in storage, he figured Kankurō could make better use of them.

"Gaara."

Hearing his name, Gaara immediately stood up and bowed. "Mirai-sama!"

"I don't have much to give you, but take this little toy."

"Seeing you lug that giant gourd around all the time tires me out just watching you."

With that, Mirai casually tossed an item toward Gaara.

Gaara quickly and carefully caught it, examining it closely.

It was a small gourd.

Unlike his usual one, this was about the size of a water flask and could be worn at the waist.

Its surface was a rich purple-gold color, engraved with intricate patterns.

When he opened the cap, he saw that the inside was covered in densely packed sealing inscriptions.

Gaara's mouth fell open in shock.

He could immediately sense how vast the space inside this gourd was!

It could probably hold hundreds of tons of sand with ease.

And thanks to the sealing and barrier techniques, even if it was filled to the brim, he wouldn't feel any extra weight.

Even though he wasn't well-versed in these techniques, he could tell that this gourd was priceless.

"Mirai-sama..."

"No need to say anything." Mirai cut him off before he could finish. "You can go now."

The three of them exchanged glances, then reluctantly nodded and left the room.

As they stepped out into the courtyard, lighthearted laughter, like the chirping of songbirds, reached their ears.

Temari turned to see a group of stunning women gathered together, chatting animatedly.

Behind her, Kankurō muttered, "Big sis, how did you even pull this off?"

Temari frowned in confusion. "What do you mean?"

Kankurō lowered his voice. "Mirai-sama treats us way too well."

"Even a real father wouldn't go this far."

Temari smacked Kankurō across the head. "What nonsense are you spouting?!"

"The things you think are valuable are nothing more than a drop in the ocean to Mirai-sama."

"Hurry up and get your things together. We have a lot to do."

As Kankurō scurried away, rubbing his head, Temari cast one last glance back at the estate.

Slowly, she clenched her fists.

One day, she would move in here too.

Only then would she truly be worthy of Mirai-sama's kindness.
