Azure Finch was a Sentient Yin Sword. Although it's genderless by nature, somehow, Ash could feel its happiness when Ash addressed the sword as a female. She was used by its previous owner, Ma Yuan, as something akin to Yin Qi Cauldron, he never practically used her in battle, just a convenient tool to gather Yin Qi to strengthen his Cultivation.
However, that was entirely wrong and heartless. The Sentient Sword also has a soul in its blade, and they will grow alongside the wielder.
Presumably, Ma Yuan never knew that Azure Pinch possessed so much potential. Ash, however, knew everything about Azure Finch like the back of his hand.
"Azure Finch! Snow Blizzard!"

Notwithstanding the cost of MP that required to activate Azure Finch's skill, Ash summoned a harrowing Snow Blizzard upon the arena. He didn't particularly care even if the whole Colosseum would be frozen solid as long as he could penetrate Yinping's aura shield.
