Gianna kept her gaze fixed in that direction, her expression filled with confusion as she tried to remember who he was.
In the end, it seemed no such person had existed in her memory at all.
So she glanced at Aurora, only to notice the latter biting her lip.
"Aurora, do you know... him?"
Aurora looked at her sister, then informed Gianna of what she needed to know. Her voice was laced with some resentment, and she didn't seem to like the man much—for whatever reason.
"Yes, that's Mommy's new boyfriend. She said he's going to be our new daddy soon... that we should respect him."
Before Gianna could recover from the shock that overwhelmed her, the man trudged out from the kitchen, and finally, his probing gaze settled on them.
However, what surprised Gianna was that he was actually quite handsome.
