Chapter 371 - Chapter 371 Invading Stark Industries

Since Tony held the press conference to today, Ultron has almost monopolized the entire artificial intelligence assistant market.

Although only less than a month has passed, it undeniable that with the massive push from Stark Industries and Ultron powerful functionalities, this product dominates the market without finding any rival that could match, let alone surpass it.

According to the market research conducted by the artificial intelligence assistant team under Wayne Enterprises, within just this short month, forty percent of Americans have chosen to install the artificial intelligence assistant Ultron in their homes and phones.

Of those who have used Ultron, as many as seventy percent of Americans have tried it...

Additionally, in a survey targeting American teenagers, eighty-seven percent have chosen they would definitely use Ultron, only two percent are extremely opposed to Ultron interfering in their lives, and the remaining few are indifferent, just going with the flow.

To some extent, if Anton didn't know that Ultron would eventually cause problems, he too would think Ultron was a decent product.

Unfortunately, Anton knows that Tony promotion of Ultron isn't that simple.

The next day.

Anton went to the sewer lab to meet with Donatello and others to inquire about the situation with Ultron.

"What going on?"

Anton looked at the turtle with purple eyemask, curiously asking, "You told me before that Ultron detected your actions and has blocked you, what happened?"

"We were trying to hack into the Stark Industries network to crack Ultron source code when we encountered Ultron counterattack."

Donatello stated seriously, "At that time, Ultron detected our presence and started blocking us.

Fortunately, I cut off the network connection in time, so he couldn't trace it back to us directly, so our identities should not have been exposed.

But now, all our actions against Ultron are known to the opponent, and we are at a loss on how to proceed."

After a pause, he added some details,

"Initially, I had bypassed Ultron, but within Stark Industries, there was another artificial intelligence, JARVIS, Tony achievement before Ultron.

We triggered an alarm left by JARVIS, and that how Ultron discovered us."

"JARVIS and Ultron... In any case, it seems that Ultron rate of evolution far exceeds our expectations."

Anton pondered for a moment, then asked, "Since you invaded their stronghold, didn't you get anything?"

"No, there was some gain."

Donatello nodded, "Although we can't take action against Ultron right now, we can confirm that Ultron has developed self-awareness he is now an artificial intelligence being with self-consciousness!"

"Anything else?"

Anton asked very calmly.

"Nothing else."

Donatello was somewhat surprised but soon realized why Anton, having firmly predicted some adverse outcomes from Ultron, would guess that Ultron would eventually develop self-awareness,

so this information merely confirmed Anton or rather the Justice League speculation, which isn't surprising, rather it affirms that Anton instructions to monitor Ultron were absolutely correct.

"So, what about Tony Stark movements?"

Anton thought for a moment and then said, "Pull up Tony recent itinerary for me."

"One moment."

Donatello operated the computer in front of him.

The holographic projector installed in the corner of the wall began to operate, displaying Tony Stark movements over the last month.

Anton mainly focused on the period after the end of the press conference.

Since then, Tony Stark has almost stayed inside the Stark Industries building, never stepping outside.

The few times he did leave were for Pepper Potts birthday, where the couple went out for a candlelit dinner and set off some fireworks.

Anton even noticed that when Tony left the restaurant, he glanced at a corner camera, meaningfully.

It seemed Tony already knew that someone would be tracking his itinerary.

"After being tricked so many times, Tony has learned his lesson, he not so easy to deal with anymore."

Anton couldn't help but comment.

"If Tony was easy to deal with, he wouldn't have created Ultron."

Donatello added, "Although I think Tony Stark himself has no ill intentions towards the world, once his mind goes down a crooked path, he indeed becomes tough to handle."

"Have you thought about how we would completely destroy Ultron from the network if we needed to?" Anton asked.

"It difficult, nearly impossible, but indeed not without a way,"

Donatello said, "The simplest, yet hardest to achieve method would require one person help."

"Cyborg?"

Anton guessed what Donatello was about to suggest.

"Yes, we need Cyborg."

Donatello said, "Ultron is like the villain Grid from the Cyborg movie. To resolve him, we need to delete all traces of Ultron from the network. Currently, the only one capable of this seems to be Cyborg."

He paused, "Or, Tony Stark surely must have put some limitations on Ultron capabilities when creating him, and he must have a way to control Ultron..."

"We could infiltrate Stark Industries headquarters and find the supercomputer that stores Ultron source code, and delete all of Ultron programs.

But doing so, we would have to face Tony Stark, as well as the internal security of Stark Industries."

"Moreover, as I just mentioned, inside Stark Industries, there isn't just Ultron as an artificial intelligence. Tony also has a more mature AI assistant, JARVIS..."

"Unless the Justice League plans to completely sever ties with Tony and Stark Industries, and openly confront them, such action could likely damage the reputation of the Justice League, making Stark Industries a sworn enemy of the League."

After sharing his thoughts, Donatello looked at Anton, waiting for his response.

"The second option, as you described, is not practical," Anton shook his head.

"It not about not being able to sever ties with Stark Industries, it that Ultron hasn't yet caused the problems we anticipate.

Taking such action would offend all users of Ultron, tarnishing the reputations of the Justice League and Batman, and unnecessarily making more enemies, possibly even drawing negative attention from the military and the World Council..."

"Right now, finding evidence that Ultron is detrimental to humanity is crucial."

Thinking aloud, he then said, "I'll have Cyborg take action against Ultron. As long as we have evidence, we can confront Stark Industries directly, and then, whatever the consequences, we can handle them."

"Alright, that indeed seems like the best course of action for now," Donatello agreed.

After the conversation, Anton left the sewer lab and headed to DC Comics.

On the way, he thought about the original storyline where the superhero who resolved Ultron was Vision, born from Dr. Helen Cho Regeneration Cradle, from the remnants of JARVIS.

Since JARVIS was killed by Ultron, Vision was born from JARVIS remains, thus Vision had a deep understanding of Ultron.

Using his knowledge of Ultron, Vision disabled Ultron ability to network, which prevented Ultron from endlessly splitting and creating duplicates through the network, and from escaping through it. Then, in the final battle, the Avengers united to eliminate all Ultron soldiers.

This marked the end of the Avengers: Age of Ultron plot.

Speaking of Vision, the general perception of this red-skinned guy is not about his strength, but rather as a 'kept man' because his wife is Wanda.

As one of the only standout female characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, along with Black Widow, Wanda is undoubtedly one of the most eye-catching characters.

As for the ultimately powerful Captain Marvel, who appears later, better leave that aside.

However, Wanda is now a prisoner of District 13, and from what John Keller revealed,

she and Quicksilver will soon be transferred to the military, most likely to be used as guinea pigs by them...

The final outcome is actually hard to predict.

But keller revealed that after the military fully investigated Wanda and Quicksilver true identities and past, their attitude changed, thinking it possible to recruit them, likely not too harshly on these two.

Given the Special Forces severe lack of superpowered individuals, the most likely scenario is that the military will recruit them into the Special Forces to redeem their past actions.

If Wanda and Quicksilver truly join the Special Forces, it would undoubtedly change the entire course of the storyline.

Of course, with Anton appearance, the current storyline has already been disastrously altered.

Only a few major events are certain to occur.

Anton no longer expects to be able to accurately predict the future.

Back to the main topic.

Speaking of Vision, Anton is almost uncertain whether Vision will be reborn.

In the original plot, Vision creation depended on three critical factors: the Mind Stone, the Regeneration Cradle, and the residual data left by JARVIS after his death.

Now, one of the crucial factors, the Mind Stone, is missing.

Whether merely using the Regeneration Cradle and the residual data left by JARVIS after his death can create Vision is now a question.

Even if it can, this Vision would not be the same as the one from the original storyline.

Lacking the Mind Stone, one of the six Infinity Stones, even if Vision is created, he won't have the same effect as in the original plot.

Moreover, the current JARVIS and Ultron are peacefully coexisting and helping each other perhaps, JARVIS is even acting as a life mentor to the newly born Ultron.

Whether they will fight each other, and whether Ultron will kill JARVIS, is also a question.

"Hoping for Vision to resolve the issue isn't realistic..." Anton mused for a moment, sorting out his thoughts. "Right now, the only way indeed seems to be through Cyborg."

Soon after, he arrived at DC Comics.

Anton strode into the office and, without waiting for others to come forward to report their work, hung a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door.

Seeing this, everyone knew to proceed as if their boss hadn't come to work at all and just carry on with their duties.

Inside the office.

Anton, transformed into Cyborg, instantly connected to the network and made his way to the doorstep of Stark Industries.

He wanted to personally interact with Ultron, to see if he could, like Vision did in the original story, crack Ultron networking mechanism.

If he could solve the troublesome issue of AI ability to flee via networks, it would make dealing with artificial intelligence much simpler.

Just like how Cyborg dealt with Grid, a similar power that split off from himself.

However, this was not an easy task.

Cyborg was able to handle Grid, strictly speaking, because Grid was a life created by him, and he had almost complete understanding of Grid.

Just like Vision was able to crack Ultron networking mechanism because Vision body was created by Ultron.

Vision came into being because, at a critical moment, the residual data left by JARVIS after his death was uploaded into what was supposed to be Ultron place.

So, from this perspective, Ultron is also one of the contributors to Vision birth.

Vision, with the traces left on his body by Ultron, managed to crack Ultron networking mechanism, making it impossible for Ultron to escape.

Therefore, summarizing, for Cyborg to crack Ultron networking mechanism, which he does not fully understand, is not a simple issue.

Nevertheless, it worth making contact first.

With that thought.

In an instant, as Anton, transformed into Cyborg, invaded, the internal network of Stark Industries building experienced a delay.

Ultron and JARVIS appeared simultaneously.

On one hand, Anton, as Cyborg, continuously collected internal data from Stark Industries, and on the other, engaged in a fierce clash with Ultron and JARVIS at the network level.

Inside the Stark Industries building.

In the top-floor research lab, Tony Stark personal laboratory.

Tony watched the holographically projected screen in front of him, flashing with endless streams of data, his expression growing serious.

"Where did this artificial intelligence come from?"

He furrowed his brows, puzzled about where another powerful AI could have come from, capable of contending with his two subordinates, JARVIS and Ultron.

"Wait, could it be..."

Suddenly, he thought of someone.

Cyborg!

As someone well-informed about the Justice League and who had some interactions with Cyborg, Tony naturally couldn't overlook this member.

From the information revealed about Cyborg in the movies produced by Anton, Cyborg brain was transformed into a quantum computer.

This endowed Cyborg with capabilities rivaling that of artificial intelligence, making him a god in the network sphere.

Although Tony knew of another figure from Hydra, Dr. Zola, who uploaded his consciousness to the network and became another form of artificial intelligence, Tony didn't regard Dr. Zola highly.

Setting aside that Dr. Zola had gone quiet following the significant blows Hydra had suffered, just considering Dr. Zola personal history wouldn't make Tony believe he could challenge his two top AIs.

Ultron and JARVIS were his brainchildren.

He knew better than anyone the strength of these two AIs.

The only ones capable of standing against Ultron and JARVIS together were those he considered adversaries from the Justice League.

"Cyborg..."

Tony stared at the continually refreshing stream of data, murmuring to himself,

"So you guys have already found out… Then, it was also you that JARVIS spotted last time…"
