Chapter 438 - Chapter 438: Robbery Feng Shui Bureau

Seeing that Lu Fei had found a lead, Zhuang's father gathered his spirits again.

"I don't know that Dark Yin Master, and I've never dealt with loan sharks! Who on earth is behind this underhanded move?"

The answer would only be revealed after they found these people.

They left Zhuang's mother at home to rest and set off immediately.

Along the way, Old Jiang behaved exceptionally well.

Huzi would occasionally spray some stinky water on him. Everyone pretended not to smell it, convincing him more firmly that he was under a confusion spell.

  "It's right in there."

After getting out of the car, Old Jiang led the group into a secluded alleyway, taking many twists and turns before finally entering a basement.

From the outside, it looked like an ordinary building, but there was a whole different world beneath it.

The first thing you see are several revolving doors, with a very unique and peculiar design.

Inside, it was filled with smoke, the sounds of card games and curses, and the strong smell of alcohol and cigarettes wafted out.

  Lu Fei instantly understood.

  This was an underground casino!

Clearly, Old Jiang had lost money here and borrowed from loan sharks.

"The person threatening me is the boss here, called Brother Bao! Later, I saw Xuan Yinzi here; they seem to have a good relationship." Standing at the door, Old Jiang spoke honestly.

All these years, he had embezzled so much money from the incense factory, but not only did he fail to pay off the high-interest loans, he ended up owing more, which is why he was under their control.

"There's something fishy about this casino!"

Lu Fei and Xu Bei exchanged a glance; instead of rushing into the casino, they first observed the entrance for a while.

"Look at the design at the entrance, doesn't it look like a giant bat hanging upside down?" Xu Bei pointed with his finger.

Zhuang Mingcheng and his father looked in that direction.

Sure enough, they found that the design around the entrance resembled a giant bat with its mouth wide open.

And the revolving door was right inside the mouth.

"This is a feng shui layout for attracting wealth, called 'Bat Hanging Gold.' Bats are blood-thirsty creatures. Before gamblers even enter, just standing here will have their luck drained away! And making the entrance a revolving door makes it easy to enter but hard to leave. Once the gamblers come in, they won't be able to leave until they've lost everything."

  Xu Bei's eyes narrowed slightly.

"Clearly, this casino has been advised by someone, perhaps that Xuan Yinzi!"

"No wonder I've never won, and my debts just keep piling up!" Old Jiang's face was filled with shock.

After gambling here for decades, he had never felt that there was anything wrong with the casino!

"The casino is already so profitable. Clearly, they didn't harm Mr. Zhuang for money," Lu Fei added.

Using the Inversion Spell, such a tormenting method, is more like venting hatred.

  "Why is that?"

The father and son of Zhuang Mingcheng were even more puzzled; they had never been involved in gambling, so how could they have deep-seated enmity with people from the casino?

To figure out the reason, they first needed to find the boss here, Brother Bao.

Without any hesitation, everyone walked over.

Upon passing through the revolving door and entering the casino, Lu Fei felt dizzy and disoriented.

"There's something set up in here!"

Circulating his Dantian magic, it only took a moment for Lu Fei's mind to clear up. He carefully observed his surroundings and couldn't help but feel a sense of dread.

All the tables in the casino were circular and arranged in a peculiar pattern, making it impossible to distinguish directions, and it was very easy to get lost among the gaming tables.

"A Maze Formation!" Xu Bei whispered.

Use this formation to bewilder the gamblers' minds; once they step through the door, they become dizzy and confused, naturally like lambs waiting for slaughter.

Lu Fei took another look at the surroundings and found more hidden mechanisms.

The walls and floor were adorned with crisscrossing striped patterns, which, when connected, resembled an overwhelming spider web covering the sky and the earth.

The gamblers, like prey trapped in a spider web, have no chance of escaping once they enter.

Bats hang from the entrance, while inside, spiders devour wealth.

Combined, it forms a fortune-snatching feng shui arrangement that devours people without spitting out their bones!

"Too ruthless! Using such a vicious fortune-snatching feng shui, aren't you afraid of retribution?" Lu Fei shook his head.

The boss here, Brother Bao, is obviously a heartless and ruthless person.

Aside from him and Xu Bei, everyone else who entered became dazed and confused, their eyes involuntarily drawn to the gambling tables, revealing a glimmer of desire.

"This casino has been around for decades, it's not to be underestimated!" Xu Bei extended his left hand and patted them on the forehead a few times.

Only then did they all gradually come to their senses, and seeing the fanatical expressions of the gamblers at the table, they all felt a chill down their spines.

"Where's Brother Bao?" Father Zhuang anxiously looked around.

"He usually doesn't come out; it's always his subordinates who manage the place..." Old Jiang said with a forced smile.

  "Go and call him over!"

  "I, I'll give it a try."

Old Jiang, cowering, went to inquire from the people at the casino, but he didn't find Brother Bao, and instead, was beaten up and sent back.

"They wouldn't tell me..." Old Jiang covered his face.

People who do such unethical business are very cautious and won't easily meet outsiders.

"I'll give it a try." Xu Bei frowned.

As the vice president of the Xuan Sect Association, he had met many important figures.

"Vice President Xu, no need to trouble yourself. I have a way to make Brother Leopard show up on his own." Lu Fei suddenly chuckled and looked at Hu Zi with great enthusiasm, "Hu Zi, do you want to play a couple of rounds?"

"Huh?" Hu Zi was greatly surprised and waved his hands in refusal, "Boss, that's not a good idea!"

"What are you afraid of? With me here, you can gamble with peace of mind!" Lu Fei hung the wealth-attracting treasure coin given by the little golden toad around Hu Zi's neck.

Hu Zi was forced into a situation like driving ducks to water and was pushed to the gambling table.

This table was very simple, just betting on big or small.

"Boss, what should I bet on?" Hu Zi had exchanged for chips but didn't know where to start.

"Whatever you like, bet on whatever you want." Lu Fei smiled warmly.

"Boss, if I lose money, you have to reimburse me!" Steeling his heart, Hu Zi placed his chips on 'small'.

  Unexpectedly, he hit the mark.

  "We won!"

Hu Zi was both surprised and delighted.

"Continue!" Lu Fei said with a calm smile.

Greatly encouraged, Hu Zi placed his bets actively. From then on, whatever he bet on, he won.

  A sure win!

This made the gamblers around them uneasy, and they started to follow Hu Zi's bets, leading to an increasing number of people at the table.

  The gamblers were highly excited!

The server's expression grew increasingly grim, and he whispered something into the microphone.

After a short while, a sign indicating a break was placed on the table, and several burly bouncers approached menacingly.

Seeing the situation, the experienced gamblers quickly dispersed, leaving only Lu Fei and his companions.

"Friends, which gang are you from?"

"I don't care which path you take!" Lu Fei said coolly with his arms crossed, "Tell Brother Bao that someone wants to have tea with him. If he doesn't come out within ten minutes, this casino will be shut down."

"What a big mouth you have!"

The thugs' faces darkened, and their fists were already flying.

Zhuang Mingcheng and his son had always been law-abiding citizens, and they had never seen such a scene before. They were scared and kept retreating.

"Oh, you want to compare strength? Well, then I, Lord Hu, won't hold back!"

Hu Zi, however, was invigorated. He stepped forward, and after a round of thuds and bangs, the thugs were knocked down one by one.

"Get up, I, Lord Hu, haven't had enough fun yet!"

None of the other thugs dared to step forward.

Zhuang Mingcheng and his son breathed a sigh of relief, and couldn't help but look at Hu Zi in a new light.

This seemingly not very smart giant turned out to be a martial arts expert. No wonder he could stay by Manager Lu's side.

"You've got some nerve, causing trouble on my turf!"

Suddenly, an angry voice was heard.

Everyone was startled and turned to look.

They saw an elderly man in his sixties, surrounded by a group of thugs like stars encircling the moon, approaching with hostility.

  Lu Fei narrowed his eyes.

This old man had a very peculiar appearance.
