Chapter 33 - 2

Billy continued his quiet inspection, his glowing blue pupils flickering slightly as he turned his head toward the main stage. He observed it for only a brief moment, his expression unreadable, before shifting his focus and redirecting his path. Without hesitation, he turned away from the stage and began walking toward the right hallway, his heavy metal footsteps echoing softly against the polished floor.

From behind the curtain, the girls continued watching, each reacting differently to his decision to leave the main room.

Bonfie frowned slightly, bouncing on her heels with pent-up energy. "Eh? Where's he going?" she whispered, her ears twitching.

Frenni tilted her head, a playful smirk tugging at her lips. "Ooh~ He's checking the place out first. I bet he'll come back soon!" she giggled excitedly.

Chiku, as usual, remained neutral, resting her cheek on her palm while tapping her fingers idly on her knee. "Hmph. He's taking his time," she muttered.

Fexa, who had been pretending to sleep, cracked one eye open fully now. "Tch. Of course, he'd go snooping around first," she huffed. "What a weirdo."

Golden Frenni, who had been practically vibrating behind the curtain, let out a soft whimper of frustration. "Nnn... I w@nt3d tø pøùnç3 øn h!m @lr3@dy~," she whispered to herself, gripping the fabric of the curtain tightly.

Marie simply let out a soft chuckle, crossing her arms and leaning against the stage wall. "Smart one. Not rushing into things," she noted, watching Billy disappear down the hallway.

With the girls still lingering in anticipation, Billy continued his walk toward the security office, his curiosity pulling him deeper into the unknown corridors of the nightclub.

Billy took his time exploring the nightclub, his footsteps steady as he moved through the right hallway. His glowing blue pupils scanned the rooms with quiet curiosity—each space looked well-maintained, but nothing seemed to match what he had expected from a Fazbear location. There were no recognizable maintenance areas, no spare endoskeletons, and no telltale signs of a Parts & Service room.

When he reached the security office, he briefly glanced at the monitors, seeing the different camera feeds displayed, but they didn't provide much additional insight. Letting out a quiet hum, he turned back and proceeded down the left hallway, continuing his silent investigation.

Time passed as Billy moved through the building, methodically taking in every detail. Eventually, he made his way back to the main room, entering from the left hallway. His gaze swept across the space once more, his mechanical mind running through all the data he had gathered.

Then, softly, he muttered to himself:

Billy: "...No animatronics?... Quite strange... I can't find any Parts & Service room... Neither understand the rooms in this location... Did Michael lie?... I have to... What am I even supposed to do exactly?..."

His voice trailed off as he stared at the floor, his pupils flickering slightly. Then, with a sudden shift in focus, he accessed his internal programming.

Billy: "Hmm... Let's see... Yeah, I have it in my programming... Oh, just help in what I can. Simple task. But how can I help?..."

His eyes moved to the tables, recalling his earlier checks.

Billy: "I guess in being the only animatronic if there aren't any... Maybe that's the help that was needed from me?... Well, tables are checked. No dust to be cleaned. All seems organized."

Billy tilted his head slightly, turning on his heel as he surveyed the room again. His hands rested on his hips, deep in thought. His internal processing ran through potential tasks, but something still felt off. His programming allowed him to assist—but assist with what, exactly?

Behind the stage curtain, the six animatronics remained hidden, each reacting to Billy in their own way as they observed his every move.

Bonfie and Frenni were the most restless, shifting their weight from foot to foot, practically vibrating with excitement. Bonfie's ears twitched, her fingers gripping the edge of the curtain tightly as she peeked out with wide, eager eyes.

Bonfie (whispering): "Ohh, I can't take it anymore! Why isn't he coming over here?! He's so cool—look at how he moves!~"

Frenni (whispering back): "I know, right?! And he's so shiny! That suit—it's real gold!~"

Frenni had to stop herself from giggling aloud, biting her lip as she pressed closer to the curtain. Her tail flicked impatiently behind her. The more she watched him, the more intrigued she became. There was something mesmerizing about the way Billy carried himself—calm, collected, but undeniably powerful.

Chiku, on the other hand, remained completely still, her blank expression unchanged. However, her golden eyes followed Billy's movements with quiet curiosity. Unlike the others, she wasn't necessarily excited—she was intrigued. She had seen plenty of animatronics in this place, but none of them had ever acted quite like this.

Chiku (internally): He's… different. The way he examines everything… He's not just looking—he's analyzing.

Fexa, still pretending to nap against the wall, finally cracked open an eye. She had been ignoring Billy at first, but the more he spoke to himself, the more he piqued her interest. His tone wasn't playful or arrogant—it was thoughtful, even slightly uncertain.

Fexa (internally): Tch. What kind of animatronic just wanders around questioning things? Shouldn't he already know his purpose?

Despite her casual attitude, she found herself watching him closely, her tail flicking lazily. Maybe he wasn't just another programmed machine.

Golden Frenni, meanwhile, had her own internal struggle. She was still blushing—heavily—but she didn't entirely understand why. Something about the way Billy moved, the way his deep blue pupils shined in the dim nightclub lighting, sent an unfamiliar warmth through her circuits. She bit the tip of her finger, eyes locked on him as he continued thinking to himself.

Golden Frenni (internally): Why… does he look so good just standing there? Ugh, what's wrong with me?

She shook her head slightly, but she didn't stop staring.

Marie was the only one who remained composed. She had been watching from the beginning, her soft smile never fading. She could already tell Billy was different. Unlike the others, she wasn't interested in how he looked—she wanted to know who he was.

Marie (internally): He's overthinking everything… Most animatronics don't do that. He's more self-aware than I expected.

She crossed her arms, leaning against the wall as she kept observing. Billy wasn't just here to be another entertainer—whether he realized it or not, he was about to change things around here.

Billy's gaze landed on the bar section of the main room, and after a brief pause, he walked toward it. His blue pupils flickered with curiosity as he scanned the various bottles displayed on the shelves. Moving behind the counter, he carefully examined them, lifting one in his hand.

Billy: "...What are these?... Bottles? I think these are bottles, but... of what?"

Tilting the bottle slightly, he observed the liquid inside, his expression blank as he tried to make sense of it. His fingers traced over the label, but the words didn't provide much clarity. After a moment, he reached under the counter and retrieved a glass, pouring a small amount of the mysterious liquid into it.

Billy placed the bottle back on the counter with careful precision before lifting the glass, watching as the liquid settled. The color was... odd. It shimmered under the dim lighting, almost unnatural to him.

Billy: "What a strange color it has... Well, let's see."

He hesitated, but ultimately, he brought the glass to his mouth and took a sip.

The reaction was immediate.

Billy froze in place, his entire body rigid as if his system had locked up. The animatronic remained completely still, as if processing what had just happened. Seconds passed in absolute silence.

Then, suddenly, he leaned forward and let the liquid drip back into the glass, his posture tensing as an unsettling realization sank in.

Billy: "...I think I shouldn't have tried that..."

His voice was monotone, but there was a hint of regret behind it.

Billy: "I think... I should go to the bathrooms or the kitchen and throw... whatever this drink is... At least all inside here, not from the bottle."

With that, Billy carefully set the glass down for a moment, then returned the bottle to its original place before picking up the glass again. He tilted his head slightly as if considering his next move, then stepped out from behind the counter and began walking through the main room, searching for either the kitchen or the bathrooms.

Behind the stage curtain, the six animatronics had been watching every second of Billy's odd encounter with the drink. Their reactions varied—some amused, others confused, and a few simply entertained by his actions.

Bonfie, already struggling to contain her excitement, clasped her hands together and giggled.

Bonfie (whispering excitedly): "He's sooo cute!~ I never thought I'd see an animatronic do something so silly!~"

Frenni smirked, barely containing her laughter. "I know, right? He just completely froze!~"

Chiku, however, remained neutral, her gaze sharp and calculating.

Chiku (internally): Why did he react like that? Did he not know what alcohol is?

Fexa, who had been feigning disinterest, snorted in amusement.

Fexa (smirking): "Hah. What an idiot. Did he really think that was oil or something?"

Golden Frenni's face was still flushed, her golden eyes locked onto Billy as she bit her lower lip.

Golden Frenni (internally, flustered): Why is he so... ugh, stop it! He's just another animatronic! Stop staring!

Marie simply sighed with a small, knowing smile.

Marie (softly): "So, he doesn't know what alcohol is... Interesting."

As Billy continued walking away with the glass in hand, the girls remained behind the curtain, more eager than ever to interact with him. If anything, this little moment only made them even more interested in their new guest.
